King's Lynn 2016

Recommended Posts

Really can't understand the defeatist attitude on here -get real it's November our first meeting is 4 months away has Buster and Rob ever let us down ? Yes we are all sad to lose NKI but life goes on and so will this great club .

Defeatist attitude, more of a realist attitude in fact. I am well aware of the current situation, and the lack of quality riders, so when losing someone as impressive as Niels it makes a massive hole in ones expectations. Niels riding every week shouldered a large proportion of our points responsibility, he was the one who made the team selection look good. Now he's gone, the talk is to find someone good enough to take on his role, and that's difficult!!!!

Next year was always going to be difficult, with 2 important riders coming back from injury. Lewis Rose picking up from where he once was, Robert Lambert taking the bull by the horns and showing what he's made of. Kenny recapturing his old form. So many variables to gamble on to be in with a chance of success. We needed a top star to rely on and bring out a positive outcome....

Unlike other on here, I'm a supporter that goes every week. Rain, Blow, Shine, makes no difference. whatever the meeting, whatever the opposition, I am always there. So yes I believe I'm entitled to an opinion, be it defeatist or other wise. Some people may not like, the speak as I find attitude, but at least you know where I stand, and can guarantee I will be supporting the Stars, with whatever team they choose to sign.

That's more then can be said for a lot of fans....

That team would be ok, but it has 4 or 5 hl!

Now that unfair on Mads :nono: Back in the year Dot when Mads was HL, he was always there or thereabouts :t::t::D

One of the biggest worries for me is Kerr back from a big crash already in the team and Rory if given a team place both are massive gambles that's a bigger worry than who's going to be No1 for me if both struggle our season is over before its begun .

They probably thought Poole were going to use him so everyone wanted him on the list :D

Do you see what we are saying though Lisa, regardless of what team you support?

If the reason Buzz isn't on the list is because he didn't ride here in 2015, then surely that means Kaspazak isnt on it either. Both rode here last as heatleaders and neither rode here last year so same rules should apply.

The only difference being that Buzz was a World Cup rider last year whilst KK wasn't

Kaspazak didn't race here in 2015 yet he's on the heatleader list isn't he?

Why would he be? How would the BSPA at the time of the AGM know that he was intending to do EL again??

Of course he is of HL standard by his last average but Not on the list!!!

Yeah I get what you're saying and I agree but if what Skidder is saying is true I'm trying to work out the logic!

I think the first mistake was calling it a 'heatleader' list.

But that's exactly what I've said. Buzz will be in one of the Poole heat leader postions. Its not me that has said otherwise.

The only doubt in my mind is if there were changes agreed during the 'cooling off period' between the 2 parts of the AGM?!

As I have said everyone can put forward suggestions (if not arguments) as to who and why should or should not be on the list.

If any rider who didnt ride here last season has an average , obtained from a heat leader position, higher than the bottom rider on the list, they are classed as a heat leader surely its not rocket science.

Buck, KK , Woffinden, Mads and the like will all be heat leaders if they ride here in 2016 as they should be.
