semion
Add The cost in for some people. When I have tried to encourage others to come with me, they cannot believe its £17 admission.
Star Lady
A bit on continuity would help. It used to be Speedway every Wednesday, Now it's "it's Wednesday - speedway day...oh no they changed it to Thursday so it's tomorrow, I'll check....nope no meeting tomorrow so it will be next Thursday. Come next Thursday, oops they changed it to Wednesday for some god forsaken reason so Ive missed it . That's two weeks I've not been,.....have I missed it .No, so won't bother next week whichever day it's on."
Trees
We've had the rider walk and interviews after the meeting, also victory laps, they are listening ..... You wouldn't come whatever SL 😉 £17, packet of fags are a tenner, people spend £20 on booze or scratchcards weekly, know what I would rather enjoy every week .... Add The cost in for some people. When I have tried to encourage others to come with me, they cannot believe its £17 admission.Have they been to a top league footy match lately ....... double and treble that amount! People have different priorities, if your priority is supporting your speedway club then you will go, obviously your mates priority isn't that .... I do wish there was some sort of way of introducing people at a cheaper price but promoters can't trust people to not abuse an offer 😕 Edited April 27, 2016 by Trees

It's no good bringing footie into the argument cos the two sports are poles apart in every way. for me it's not about cost. It's about a pleasant evenings entertainment and being appreciated by those I've come to support. At present Lynn and speedway in general provide me with neither. I would love to get my enthusiasm back but every time I've been to Lynn, except for NL matches, in recent years I've been bored stiff and that's the crux of the matter. semion
Trees, Think You are missing the point. I was trying to entice newbies to come to Saddlebow, and the thing that put them off was the cost. Some people with a low expendable income find £17 a lot of money. What On earth has that got to do with going to a football match, its not like that was even on the agenda. For you Info I have got to suffer watching The Red Devils at Carrot Road Next week. Its a hard life, but someone has to do it.
Daniel Smith
We've had the rider walk and interviews after the meeting, also victory laps, they are listening ..... After meeting stuff is irrelevant. Us fans need whipping up before & during the meeting. Most people go home straight after heat 15. And the victory laps, you mean the ones where they ride round together chatting no giving a fook about the other side of the safety fence. We might get the occasional 90° arm without a look. That'll whip up a storm
Star Lady
Spot on Danny. Meeting riders after the meeting is no good for families with young children and they are the future after all. As my daughter has just pointed out you knew that the likes of Chris Mills (amongst others) always appreciated the fans, can you honestly say any of the present team show the same appreciation. Starting the first race at 7-30 would be a starting point
semion
Back in the day when there was a 2nd half, It was worth stopping behind to watch ( No choice as was on a Bus in those days) as it made for a full nights entertainment. A few young up and coming riders having a go, then rider of the night. Though the final was all exhibition stuff and the monies were divided out between the riders it was still entertaining. Maybe its the old memory playing tricks but back then the riders showed their appreciation of the supporters and No big ego's to contend with. Just honest Guys offering an honest nights entertainment. Someone tell me its all moved on to big and better things.

Yes heard that, obviously Rory needs replacing for a while. We have a few points to play with now but somehow our team average goes up on the 2nd.So to benefit from the averages I think they need to do it now. mrss
Can't think of any riders to replace Rory apart from Kenny Bjerre. Surely the Stars won't have him back.

therefused
Davey is available and classes Lynn as one of his favourite tracks and is crap, no thanks.
Daniel Smith
and is crap, no thanks. Crap is harsh but Watt most definitely is not the answer. But let's be honest here, he and Bjerre might be all that's available. We had nothing at the start of the season, can't see a superstar turning up now to fill any voids
SCB
I would imagine Bjerre phone is red hot this week with 6 or 7 clubs looking to try and fit him in I would imagine Watts had a few cursory phone calls too
