semion
Maybe the Money on offer for Morris and Doyle is better for a nights work at Lynn than it is at Somerset. Lets be fair Its a Business to the riders, a Sport to the fans.
BWitcher
Eh? Correct me if I'm wrong but both are Swindon riders and should be riding for Swindon irrespective of what was arranged first. The way it usually works is that as both are contracted Swindon assets, they would ride for Swindon. Why on earth would anyone think it was alright for them to ride for other teams instead of Swindon - one of which isn't even a UK team!! Unbelievable! Quite simply because its not an official Swindon meeting, so they are not contracted to ride in it.
stevebrum
Quite simply because its not an official Swindon meeting, so they are not contracted to ride in it. And equally have no business picking a meaningless supposed international challenge meeting. Club comes first, unless it's country.
Grachan
Quite simply because its not an official Swindon meeting, so they are not contracted to ride in it. It's about respect. Is it right to say that Chapman is now Chairman of the BSPA? Not a great start, is it, to think purely of his own club at the expense of what was probably a pretty big occasion for a PL club. And even if it was arranged before the Somerset match - which I'm not sure it was - Doyle was only put into the King's Lynn side this week. I'm surprised anyone can see that as acceptable. It showed complete disrespect for Somerset and, indeed, Swindon to even ask him.

Star Lady
Doyle has been 'recalled' by Swindon And according to the Lynn website because of pressure from the fans. Nearly fainted in shock reading that

tellboy
Doyle has been 'recalled' by Swindon So it seems Swindon had a part in this too,as they seemed happy for Lynn to use him up until now.Seems like the BSF has a voice in speedway by the looks of it. So who do Lynn turn to now,N.Pedersen anyone. Edited March 4, 2016 by tellboy
dump that clutch
what absolute muppets we have running speedway in the UK. Kings Lynn arrange a meeting on the same night as another team and they 'ask' if it's ok to use him... bloody 's... If you want to use a top rider for your own challenge meeting, pay for one to come over and ride. Common sense has just been restored, Doyley will now ride for 'his' team... never thought i'd use the words common sense on the BSF..

Crazy robin
Am I right in thinking that Kings Lynn usually ride on a Wednesday or Thursday & if so why change to a Friday?. Great to see fan power wins the day & as Citizen Smoith said "POWER TO THE PEOPLE"😀😀

Bagpuss
If its the same as the meeting a couple of years ago then I don't think the meeting at Lynn was promoted by Lynn or Buster but the Polish company involved. Anyway, good to see that common sense has prevailed although it would be good to hear Swindon's side of things.

RobMcCaffery
Of course it's not irrelevant. It's basically a meaningless pre-season friendly against a lower opposition team. That description applies to both matches.
