King's Lynn 2016

You would think both Clubs, and Somerset in particular would be quick to quash those rumours and set the record straight.

Buster is saying he is riding at Lynn, Then as he is BSPA Chairman that's good enough for me.

In this country both Nick Morris and Jason Doyle are contracted to ride in Swindon fixtures so I cannot see either riding an international select meeting at KL - so I would expect KL fans to be the disappointed ones.

I would expect their respective contracts to insist they ride in 'official EL fixtures'!! Neither of these 2 fixtures are anything more than 'friendly, Challenge meetings' to blow the cobwebs away before the serious stuff starts!!!

I am sure there will be something on the Somerset and Swindon websites to clear the matter up and confirm Doyle is in fact not riding at Lynn that night but is at The Oak Tree.

What a total farce it will be if contracted club riders ride elsewhere in the UK whilst their contracted club rides on the same night.

It's irelevant if the club meeting is an official one or a challenge.

And the KL fixture is an EL fixture or am I missing something?

Of course it's not irrelevant.

It's basically a meaningless pre-season friendly against a lower opposition team.

It doesn't matter how "meaningless" it is - and I suspect it's not meaningless to Somerset to have Doyle and Morris there.

If Swindon are riding, then their riders should be in the team and not guesting for another side or riding in an overseas team on a GB track.

Interesting this is being called a "Test Match". Are King's Lynn claiming this to be an international and therefore giving it some sort of priority?

Dont talk out of your backside! Swindon will be taking a following of fans to that meeting against a side already bolstered by Kildemand ..KL are riding in what you could also term meaningless...pathetic attitude you have

And as for the description 'test match' what a load of hogwash...international 'testing ones engines' challenge

It's a meaningless pre-season match against lower league opposition, who aren't even tracking their own team.

It's not a 'pathetic attitude', its the truth.

If you're gullible enough to think it's something important, that's up to you.

I'm not claiming the other meeting is anything special either.

As for the 'following of fans' that Swindon will be taking.. well it's good for them to know who will be riding and who won't, then make their decision as to whether to attend or not, nobody is forcing them.

You can still sponsor Jason Doyles signed No1 race jacket for the Rebels v Robins meeting.

Looks like the Chairmans communication skills are to the fore again as he has not even told Debbie that he has nicked Jason yet.

Saves someone 200 notes anyway.

If the Kings Lynn meeting was arranged first and Wroclaw want to use Morris then Morris will have to ride at Kings Lynn, thats how it usually works I believe.

Eh? Correct me if I'm wrong but both are Swindon riders and should be riding for Swindon irrespective of what was arranged first. The way it usually works is that as both are contracted Swindon assets, they would ride for Swindon. Why on earth would anyone think it was alright for them to ride for other teams instead of Swindon - one of which isn't even a UK team!! Unbelievable!
