SCB
Lynn are a perfect example on not how to run a club in terms of communication with fans. An absolute shambles. PR is an absolute joke at KL no thought given to fans just expected to turn up and hand over our £17 totally disillusioned with what's going on at KL Kings Lynn, the club that closed its twitter account with 3,800 followers to open another one. Why? They basically threw away those fans. You can;'t imagine Coca-cola re-branding so opening a new twitter account and leaving the old one dormant. And I got blocked for pointing this out to them! Woz01
To be fair all clubs could do a lot better in terms of PR and social media. It's not hard to put up a couple of tweets a day promoting a meeting in a few days time. My club Coventry do a few tweets on the day occasionally but that's far too late. Got to be honest I don't mind waiting till the day before a meeting to see the line ups.
Aces51
The original PR man (Marc Gent) use to get a s#!+ load of sick for lack of everything. So much so he left. It transpired that he wasn't the problem and wanted do various things. It is Buster that doesn't believe in these things and believes people turning up for the racing alone is what sells. It's Buster that is out of touch & after originally being positive about him becoming BSPA chairman I have concerns. I won't criticise him in that position just yet as he's asked to be judged for 2017. But for what's happened / happening at King's Lynn right now, especially not taking any responsibility for the shambles against Swindon I believe he's turning into a bit of a joke. Firmly stuck in the past. Particularly so after his promise of openness and transparency, which I assumed was to relate to his Chairmanship from day one. No reason to delay that until 2017. I interpret that promise to mean keeping the fans fully in the picture. Like you I will reserve judgement until next year but I have seen nothing yet the inspires confidence in fact, just the opposite with his childish outbursts and disregard for Stars fans. Haza
Never mind next season it's this season that gets me little over 24 hours till the Stars race at Swindon and absolutely jack s##t from the club total joke
CookieIpswich
The sport desperately needs a governing body to put in place a rule set, a structure, and people who will work hard to make the sport survive long into the future - unfortunately its all about personal gain which has been the case since, well before I know when
pointsmeanplayoffs
I can envisage Buster getting on the microphone at the meeting with Poole next week to have his say, to try and clear and the air. Soooooo much negativity surrounding the Stars at the moment partially due to the communication vacuum.
semion
No point Buster coming on the mic blowing smoke up people's deriere. Words are cheap, actions are what count.
Red Flag
Kings Lynn fans not happy with all things Buster is quite frightening considering in the eyes of many he is the saviour of British Speedway
semion
Maybe he has taken his eye of the ball at Saddlebow to concentrate on the bigger picture. Maybe once he has sorted out Speedways massive problems he will flick the switch back on at Lynn and everything will be roses around the door. I won't hold my breath
racers and royals
From the website KING’S Lynn can give their Elite League play-off hopes a major boost when they head to Swindon on Thursday (7.30).The Roger Warnes Transport Stars have kept their top four ambitions alive with three wins in their last four outings. They will now go in search of more crucial league points against the fourth-placed Robins in a huge meeting at the Abbey.Co-promoter Dale Allitt knows they will need to be at their best but believes they have what it takes to come out on top.Said Allitt: “It’s a strange one really because Swindon is a track where we seem to do very well or very poorly judging by our recent results there.“We’ve near enough got a full team, Lewis Kerr is a good guest for Simon Lambert and we think Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen should go well around Swindon.“We’ve got a good balance to the team, so we’re going there hoping to come back with the points.”The Stars have drafted in Lewis Kerr as a guest for Simon Lambert in the No.2 spot, whilst Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen comes back into the side.Meanwhile, Swindon have booked Adam Roynon to guest for the injured Stefan Nielsen at reserve.SWINDON: Jason Doyle, Rohan Tungate, Nick Morris, Josh Grajczonek, Justin Sedgmen, Charles Wright, Adam Roynon.KING’S LYNN: Niels-Kristian Iversen, Lewis Kerr, Robert Lambert, Rory Schlein, Troy Batchelor, Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen, Lewis Rose.

Aces51
Was woeful tonight at Poole. Hardly surprising considering he has only just come back after another lengthy lay off due to injury. I am amazed he has come back so many times after serious injury and been able to recover his form. He's got guts, I'll give him that and I hope that he's soon back to the form we know he is capable of producing.
Bagpuss
Precisely, would say he was a poor choice of guest seeing as he's had one meeting after a long lay off.

pointsmeanplayoffs
Was woeful tonight at Poole. With his recent injuries I doubt he enjoyed riding the much-maligned track at Wimbourne Road in its current condition.
tellboy
Precisely, would say he was a poor choice of guest seeing as he's had one meeting after a long lay off. Think he has had a couple of extra guest bookings. He definately rode at Lakeside and possibly Wolves coupled with the 2 for Lynn,so 3-4 matches he has rode would like to think he would be in the swing of things by now.Think its confidence not fitness. SteveLyric2
With his recent injuries I doubt he enjoyed riding the much-maligned track at Wimbourne Road in its current condition. Poole's track has been great since the Belle Vue home defeat. It was repaired the day after and has been well prepared since - aside from one very dusty occasion in the middle of our hot summer last month!! semion
Rory always takes a while to get up to speed after a lay-off. He hardly had the chance to get back from his previous injury when he copped the last one. Think Rory is at the stage of his Speedway Life where he wont be taking any undo risks ( and why should he) so I feel it will be very much what you see is what you get. Daniel Smith
That begs the question then, why have we replaced Mads for him? (although I though it was the right move at the time) 2016 figures (Home Away, Combined) show: Mads - 5.88 H - 6.95 A = 6.04 C Rory - 4.27 H - 2.22 A = 3.50 C
