kelvinht
Stars need a win tonight and against Swindon at home next week, then not lose anymore at home, pick up a few more points away from and we won't be far off a play off place. Lakeside are the weaker of the current top 4 for me, but Poole are Poole so don't bet against them either
stevebrum
The stars need to go on an almighty run to have a sniff of a chance to make the play offs and if they are in that good form would be favourites for the title come September. It's highly unlikely tho I'd say.
mdmc82
King's Lynn have had some good results the last week but they have been against the other teams also near the bottom of the table. I personally don't think they are as strong against tougher teams. Yes you are 6pts off play offs but Poole have a meeting in hand I still think Swindon, Wolves, Poole & Belle Vue will finish in the top 4 although Lakeside have got tighter at home again. Sidney the robin
Have passed the feedback on! Thank you! I've had to amend my original post as the KLSSC committee were informed tonight that a NL fixture has been rearranged for the 22nd July and as a result, the date for the quiz will now have to be changed! Awfully sorry everyone!!!!! This was completely out of our control. Once we have a new date, I'll post about it again on here more than likely. Fair play to you Em i hope it all goes well if it helps a few of the young lads along the way it has to be good.Be nice if a few like Bailey come along nicely, and who knows might even ride for the stars one day. Speedball
Realistically I can't see any hope of the playoffs but at least this burst of life keeps the season alive in some shape. Can't see us picking up anymore away wins apart from maybe the re-staging with Leicester. Also we don't know how many meetings Niels will be missing. Any away match without him pretty much means no chance of any points.

Sorry for the delay in answering. Never knew anyone had answered me as I rarely post on here these days Josh Bailey was selected as rider of the night by the KLSSC committee at the last NL meeting. I think he'll come good, along with Kinsley and Whitmore, given the right support and guidance and financial help of course. I'd like to see the supporters club really take off, but it's early days yet. We haven't had one for so long, I think both the club and fans have forgotten what it's like to actually have one!!!! Speedball
Apart from the management will be able to bring in a good guest? We couldn't when went to Belle Vue. Think it's a 6pt PL rider. Missing Niels, Mads & Robert and we used Kenneth Hansen, Jacob Thorssell & R/R Edited July 17, 2016 by Speedball
g13webb
A personal take on the league so far: Wolves are sitting pretty, they have points in the bag and still have 7 home meeting to go. Will acquire a PO place . Belle Vue, Blows hot and cold, 7H and 5A should be safe but will drop some points along the way. PO place. Swindon: Appear good at home, suspect away. 4H and 7A . Will need more pts away to be safe. Lakeside: Although consistent at home, are weak away with 5H and 4A Squeaky Bum time. Poole: Not the force they were, Still to hit top form, 7H and 7A have plenty time left. to get a PO place. Kings Lynn. Dropped silly points at home. can do better both home and away. With 5H and 8A can do some damage to others hopefuls.. Coventry: Again dropped silly points, With weak Reserves will struggle to win enough meeting for the PO Leicester: Wooden spoon team that tries hard with no reward. with 3H and 5A Enough Points will always be hard to achieve. g13webb
that's ok, 4 points on Wednesday it is then.. Well whatever.... But one things for sure it will be a lot harder now compared to the poor showing we made at the Abbey earlier. This time, we will have a team who will try, plus Sedgman won't be scoring 18points either.
Daniel Smith
If anyone is remotely interested the Play-off chase is certainly on after Swindon lose at home tonight. What's to be seen though is if we have a team, togetherness and will to win left.
stevebrum
In fairness you need some away wins to have a chance of the top 4. Lakeside's home form should see them make the top 4, along with Aces, Poole and Wolves. The Stars better get on a run soon then!
Haza
Really can't see we have any hope of top 4 finnish and too be honest we don't deserve it either .

semion
Cos Lynn have an outside chance of a top 4 finish. It's never over till the fat lady sings as they say. Looking at the form of Swindon ( Humped at Wolves and losing a 'must win' at Home to The Aces last bnight) must give Buster and Rob hope. Lakeside getting dicked at home by a Poole select must also give Lynn a sniff at it. If Lynn can find a bit of form at the business end of the season then anything is possible. The only thing we have to hope is we have some team spirit left. After Wednesday that could easily have been destroyed by our promoter

Absolutely, he deserves at least a phone call but I'm not sure Buster is the type of guy to apologise. Buster is a 'tomorrow's another day' type of guy and what's happened is forgotten and moves on quickly.
