Just great.!. Niels was our team, and you come out with crap like that............

No 'I' in team as in Niels,he was just part of a team.He was the top rider but just part of a team. He's not riding so get over it and support whoever Buster and Rob choose to put the Stars kevlars on.

Years ago, it was said that Michael Lee would put a thousand on the gate, no problem. Its been the same with all the top riders at Lynn, and Niels was no different

...

Can't say the crowds were much above a thousand whenever I attended the NA, so On your logic without NKI the crowd would be one man a a can of soup :)

All this weeping and wailing about Lynn not winning anything in 2016 could someone kindly remind me what Lynn have actually won whilst NKI has been riding in Stars colours

Nah, Star Lady still won't attend haha

The pigging GP organisers are getting it all their own way, let's hope Poland kick up more stink over their clubs going to the wall, they must know that BSI have just been using their sponsors and their clubs over the years...

Total bullsh*t comment but did we expect anything else to come out of your mouth

It's about being competitive. Now Niels is gone it looks unlikely we'll be that. Niels saved our skin home and away time and time again.

Probably my wording in (post 500) has been misconstrued. When it was said that Michael Lee put a thousand on the gate we were talking much bigger gates than we get now.

When talking with Alan Littlechild, he admitted the average gate being about 2000 plus, but when Michael rode, he would always attract around the 3000 mark. My comment was to highlight the fact that star name puts bums on seats, NOT THAT EVERY TOP RIDER PUT 1000 ON THE GATE. In Niels case it would have considerably less as the numbers now are quite low, but nevertheless a percentage would go solely because Niels as there.......

What did we win..... We won respect, and expectation from the opposition. Kings Lynn also gained recognition from around the globe because of Niels exploits on the world Stage....

So King's Lynn Stars didn't win any titles in that time......hang on yes we did Elite League Riders Championship.....oops that was Rory Schlein :P

Now he's a rider I'd have on my team sheet from the start and if he's not I'll be disappointed. Personality, superb team man, motivator, team riding skills, acknowledges fans.... yep I'd be very disappointed if he doesn't return.

Riders come and go hasnt it always been just so ? The King is dead, Long live the king and all of that. If NKI feels by giving the UK a miss he has maybe one last chance of going for World Champion then good luck to him, thanks for his efforts over the last few years, but time for both party's to move on. Kings Lynn Speedway was around long before NKI and I am sure it will be around long after ( if the Sport survives).

I have every confidence that Buster will put out a side that will be competive, If not it wont be the first time we have had that to deal with at Saddlebow. After all we have had some real ropey years in The Sport.

The one League idea is getting ever closer and if thats the way it is, then so be it. I well remember a few years back the enjoyable times Kings Lynn had competing at that level, and If that is the only level that is sustainable in British speedway then surely that has to be better than No Speedway, doesnt it ?

Sorry that NKI will be missing as he is an out and out racer and a pleasure to watch.

The Tai effect has made things difficult for clubs in GB this winter.

This may be a wobbly year for British Speedway.... But they will now have to make some radical decisions for 2017 if this is a permanent situation.

Why the Tai effect. Why would the top boys keep wanting to shuffle themselves backwards an forward for a pittace compared to what they get in Poland Sweden assuming they get paid, and the GP ?

Still too sad about Niels not riding to post. Oh hang on!

Good Luck to him, and thanks for 5 magical seasons where time and time again he has dragged us over the line. It's been a pleasure watching him race.

Hopefully he'll be back : )

In the meantime, I just saw a 'Nicki Pedersen Racing' Mercedes van going around the Hardwick roundabout...

Isn't that what all good number ones should do.

How can you say we are unlikely to be competitive when we haven't announced anyone yet?Lets be honest at the moment there has only been one real number 1 announced for a team and that is Doyle.Maybe 6 other teams wont be competitive then as well.
