Steve Shovlar
I hope the BSPA have blocked the move, no way should Woffinden be allowed on a 7 point average. Perhaps that is it. Or perhaps they are not interested in his five year plan.
stevebrum
As if we are meant to know what he is on about with criptic twitter messages. A full press release might help. maybe wait for the press release ? Mugged of what? Dies he mean mugged off? Didn't he get his fee? Sounds like he has thrown a hissy fit because of how crap he was on Saturday. as you stated previously, best wait for the press release . You would have to be barking or trolling to suggest it's anything to do with a GP performance. Perhaps that is it. Or perhaps they are not interested in his five year plan. The only way forward if they want to involve our greatest star. Are you suggesting the BSPA ignore his plan then as what they are currently doing is working? You are quite correct, he should be on his old average which was 7.03 (I think!)

Why are people prattling on about his average for, he rode in 2014 so has a valid average ,much like Krzysztof Buzz this season.

screm
Plan B but I think he is in on tour. This time last week Wolves, Tai himself were telling everyone about the signing, the BSPA even had it on their site. Now a week later and it seems its all change, why could the BSPA have not put a block on the move last week I mean what do they know now that they didn't know last week, or has there been frantic phone calls from the south coast. Wolfsbane
The Wolves thing could well be correct, or maybe not. Based on the facts available so far, it appears the BSPA do not share his views (and their money) on the way forward for Team GB. This all started, I believe, with their refusal to give him a wildcard when he missed a round of the British championships at Sheffield for reasons I can't recall. Speculating that a block may have been put on his Wolves move I can't wait to read the BSPA press release if that's the case. 'Woffinden's move to Wolves has been blocked as to have a dual British World Champion in British speedway is not in the interests of British Speedway' Edited August 15, 2016 by Wolfsbane

Nothing to do with Poole. Matt said, There are changes being made in British speedway now and, clearly, Tai Woffinden going to Wolverhampton is going to make them stronger. It is a very good move from them and one which is going to put them in the mix and give them a tremendous boost.
A ORLOV
Tai has tweeted @ WolvesSpeedway that he is super excited to be back with the crew, so it seems things are ok with Wolves Edited August 15, 2016 by A ORLOV
Shale Searcher
Chapman has done some stupid things both as and before being bspa chairman but this would take the biscuit. Surely it is just a load of bollox? Just read the thread on the other forum, I'll have to withdraw my Shovlar wind up comment. What other forum?? oleoleole
Peter Adams is the guest at the NSSC tomorrow night. I don't know how much he'd be willing to discuss Tai's signing for Wolves or the Team GB situation but as you know he's been very close to him for many years. Besides that Peter was very entertaining last year with tales of the many World Champions he has worked with. Smuggling a passport less Bruce Penhall over the German border in the boot of his car was one of the highlights! Peter has a very sharp wit, totally different to his on screen (SKY) persona. We are in for a treat. All proceeds go to Neil Vatcher and his Young Lions. Only £3 for non-members, everybody welcome. http://www.nuneatonspeedwaysupportersclub.co.uk

Seriously how can a speedway rider exile himself from a tournament which is 11 months away and make it known he might be available for the corresponding tournament 23 months away. Absolute Madness. Normally with an industrial dispute time is a precious commodity. There is oodles of time in this case to exhaust all avenues , compromises, disagreements, etc Maybe we need someone from the speedway world to mediate, wonder if Phil Rising is available

It will sort itself out in good time. The important thing from our perspective is the real Tai shows up for Wolves and bangs in the pts between now and the end of season and fingers crossed, in the play-offs.

Tai IMHO is making a point and it's usually a good one on evidence so far.
