Perton Wolf
Bringing in Woffinden is a great move, I just hope the reserves can hold their own in the Playoffs. That will be the deciding factor........
stevebrum
The only person 'hanging on a conversation' is you, lol! that's the spirit , keep telling yourself that. Exactly. Riders will tell you what they think you want to hear. Although Garrity announced at the Cov v Wolves meeting with Adams there that he had never said that. He said he liked the Wolves track but didn't ever say he wanted to ride for them. Wolves announcement says They only just spoke to him and he signed but how many people saw the tweet about the speedway star a few weeks ago with regards to Tai being in talks with a team about returning to British Speedway. I'm referring to an interview he gave on the centre green to the fans. Steve, as you've pointed out riders tell fans what they want to hear. So Tai is telling Wolves fans what they want to hear? And we are happy with what he is saying

Wolfsbane
Wolfsbane.. surely you are, like me, somewhat in shock? CVS and Peter Adams have wildly surpassed what we would expect this time! I think it's only right and fair we give them the credit for making this move. Yep, credit where it's due to both of them Bringing in Woffinden is a great move, I just hope the reserves can hold their own in the Playoffs. That will be the deciding factor........ Bringing in Woffinden gives the club a major boost but it's Howarth and, to a lesser extent. Clegg/Morris who hold the key. C'mon gents, pedal up!! SCB
Could Tai represent Wolverhampton at the ELRC?No, he's 3rd in their averages so won't qualify.
stevebrum
You do have a strange way of looking at things? Woofinden says he's not coming to Belle Vue and you just can't leave it. Ha ha, I've just found a picture of you on the interweb OI! FLANGE, NO!! WOOFINDEN IS NOT GOING TO BELLE VUE! It was never in question. You made some big noise about some conversation you had in the presence of Sam Masters. No doubt he will be an Ace for the 2017 season. Safrican american.
Col
No, he's 3rd in their averages so won't qualify. I'm sure Masters & Lindgren can find an excuse not to be there if he wants to. The ELRC is pretty low priority for riders these days, else how the hell would Schlien have won it? I'm sure on my only ever visit to Blunsden I witnessed Ronnie Correy be Wolves sole representative in the competition. Think Travis McGowan was the Silver Component. Wolfsbane
The BLRC (yep) is a BSPA event. Woffinden has rather a large beef with that august organisation around it's (non) support for Team GB. There's a clue. stevebrum
You were going on about there being no credible story about woofinden talking to another club and I chipped in with a fact (as usual)I've removed the other guff to get to the point. There is no fact. You say you spoke to Woffy in the presence of Masters. That is your fact. What you were told is not fact.It WILL be fact IF what he told you becomes true. Until then it's just words which as we all know are rarely truthful just a rider telling a fan what they want to hear. No doubt you will reply with more guff in an attempt to add (and fail) credence to the debate. I called your story Jackanory much in the same way that what Harris and Garrity said was equally so. I'm sure you will dissect and re-explain to try and reinvent again. Perhaps you could find something else productive to fill your time with? Just a thought. BWitcher
You asked Wofffinden when was he signing for Belle Vue.. riders in this situation, as stevebrum says, will very often tell you what you want to hear. He said "They can't fit me in". Nobody has questioned whether or not he said that. You've mentioned you have a witness in Sam Masters, no need, we take your word for it. Now, whether that is the truth or not, i.e. Woffinden had approached them and been told they couldn't fit him in, or he just told you 'they can't fit me in' to give you the impression he'd ride for Belle Vue if he could, whilst safely knowing he wouldn't be,, is open to conjecture. Why the need to drag it out? Edited August 12, 2016 by BWitcher

BWitcher
who cares what was supposedly said by who and about what. end of the day he's signed to ride for Wolves for the rest of this season. Agreed. Simply trying to bring it to a close, there isn't even anything to discuss. Sadly Drop a Cog will twist things again to keep it going. It will be interesting what setup Woffinden will have, which bikes, mechanic, pit crew etc. I can't see Jacek coming over, but it would be fantastic if he did!

JK has put on twitter that anybody needing a mechanic should contact his mechanic he had at wolves. putting 2 and 2 together I'm guessing Tai could be bringing Jacek over with him for the Elite League meetings. he'll probably have someone else helping him out I know his future brother in law is riding in the NL so maybe it might be him. Why the need to drag it out? we know why, it's called attention seeking. That's what I said in the first place? angry frank started ranting about egg on your face and jackanory and all sorts of bollox and you know me, I do like being able to quote what someone has posted on here when they try and squirm out of it. My guess he will have taken more medication like last time he he misquoted me (about riders falling off, priceless!)and go away until it wears off but to be honest I hope not, there's still plenty of mileage in this. It's ended as far as I'm concerned. You had your conversation, no one is saying you didn't. Let's enjoy the Wolves asset while he is here. Jog on.
stevebrum
The medication is working? No mention of Garrity, Harris, making up facts, jackanory, saying I said woofinden told me he was riding for Belle Vue next season (that did mark you out as being a bit tapped, lol!) egg on face, woofinden telling me he isn't riding at Belle Vue just because its what I wanted to hear (why would I want to hear that?) and all because of your 'everyone is lying to me' schizo paranoia. A word of advice, don't come on the bsf unless your nurse has given you your medication beforehand, you've done it twice now in the last few weeks (riders falling off was even more weird if I'm honest) and you have come up with some proper mental nutjob comments. Bless, if can't win resort to personal attacks. No surprise.
