stevebrum
No. I think he's referring to a conversation Tai had with another teams promoter first Of course. I suggest you follow Polish speedway a bit more before making statements about Wroclaw`s play-off chances- far from failing to reach them they actually have every chance of getting in the top 4 to qualify http://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/pge-ekstraliga I suggest you follow wolves official for the news. http://www.wolverhamptonwolves.co/news.php?extend.2550 No. He was after a spot with us. But signed for wolves anyway a few week ago. So to say that he only got call yesterday is a lie Comedy post of the day. It also says he only got the call yesterday. Hahaha. Yeh right And it mentions nothing about being spoken to by Belle Vue. Because it didn't happen. Lol

Daniel Smith
Of course. Lol You do make me chuckle Stevie Boi Everything that come out of Wolverhampton Speedway is gospel, promoters & riders never tell little fibs to suit an agenda I see no reason to disbelieve what Phil The Ace is saying & Woffy himself said he'd like to race their every week

I have yet to see a credible story linking Tai to another club. perhaps if I did it might make me think twice. Riding for his parent club who have lead the table a large part of the season really is 2nd best isn't it, more comedy gold. You do make me chuckle Stevie Boi Everything that come out of Wolverhampton Speedway is gospel, promoters & riders never tell little fibs to suit an agenda I see no reason to disbelieve what Phil The Ace is saying & Woffy himself said he'd like to race their every week Oh I see. Not believing a riders statement is less believable than a fan making a claim with no back up other than a comment he makes during the world cup? so you believe that word but not the press statement?? selective opinion at best. some speedway fans really make me chuckle so thanks for that. stevebrum
Don't know where pta got his info from but I asked Tai when he was coming to ride for Belle Vue and he said "they can't fit me in", I said I meant next season and he just grinned, pretty sure Sam Masters was listening in so you can ask him if you like. 2+2= lol! I remember Garrity saying he would love to ride for wolves and watch out next season 2 seasons ago.....then sign for Coventry lolThe riders will tell you want they want you to hear. Bomber told me he loved riding at Wolves and said 'let's see' when asked if he might ride for us the following year. I'd have been a fool to believe him! You would have to be totally gullible to quote it as a fact that they will sign for you. Edited August 11, 2016 by stevebrum

BWitcher
Stop playing games DAC. You know full well your reference to Woffinden saying 'they can't fit me in' was to suggest/back the claim he had approached Belle Vue for a place. stevebrum
Not sure if you quite got it? When he said 'they cant fit me in' that meant he wasn't going to sign for Belle Vue. Are you saying that because garrity said he was going to sign for wolves and he didn't it means when woofinden said he wasn't going to sign for Belle Vue, he actually meant he was? Had anyone else said that I would have thought it a bit weird but I can understand it coming from you, ha ha! I've absolutely no doubt the conversation took place. I'm also sure the approach was more about next season, this season was never going to an option at Belle Vue. Jackanory story. Tai has no interest in racing in the UK for a full season. Not quite sure you get that. My point was riders tell the fans what they want to hear. of course if you had a conversation with tai and you are quoting it as fact then it don't get any weirder. But of course Tai will be riding for Belle Vue next season because he told you. Guess you won't look a fool if that happens next season but until then........ Back in the real world Tai signs for his parent club and only EL club he wants to ride for, and won't be back for a full season next year with anyone. Keep telling yourself you have a valid argument. I'm also sure the approach was more about next season, this season was never going to an option at Belle Vue. Woffinden wouldn't know if they could fit him in next season, neither would Belle Vue. So clearly his answer was based upon this season.. which comes back to stevebrum's point of, the riders will more often than not tell you what you want to hear. Now what the actual truth is, I don't know, you don't know, neither does Stevebrum. Reality is, he is a Wolves asset, has spent his entire Elite League career with Wolves (bar his brief doubling up) and is returning to Wolves. That may change in the future.. time will tell. stevebrum
I don't care what you think, why should I? Anyway, you can ask Masters, tell him I'm the bloke who was chatting to his mum and dad when he came up to the bar, he'll remember me then, lol! Don't you get it?? Even if he said it ,( I don't care if he did or didn't anyway why would I? ) it doesn't mean it has any realistic chance of happening. I told you Bomber said to me he was considering riding for Wolves, has he ever signed for us?? Enough said. It's a little sad you are hanging onto a conversation as some sort of gospel. Do you honestly believe he will ride for a Friday night track Belle Vue next season considering he has said he won't do a full season again in the EL?? Let's see who has egg on their face in March when Woffy apparently lines up for the Aces for the 2017 season.
Wolfsbane
Don't know about anyone else but I couldn't give a flying who said what to whom and when. I'm just rather looking forward to the rest of the season

I'm just rather looking forward to the rest of the season Wolfsbane.. surely you are, like me, somewhat in shock? CVS and Peter Adams have wildly surpassed what we would expect this time! I think it's only right and fair we give them the credit for making this move.
weatherwatcher
People have moned on all season long about him not bothering to ride over here in the EL, he signs for Woles for the rest of the season and some folks still think that it is wrong. Glad he came back even if only few a few meetings. It may put a few more bums on the seats for the weeks to come.
gimli27
Dont see what the real gripe is weather watcher has got it spot on if it was any other team in the same position had the chance to do the same with their asset who happened to be the same class as woffy they would be there like a shot

Although Garrity announced at the Cov v Wolves meeting with Adams there that he had never said that. He said he liked the Wolves track but didn't ever say he wanted to ride for them. Wolves announcement says They only just spoke to him and he signed but how many people saw the tweet about the speedway star a few weeks ago with regards to Tai being in talks with a team about returning to British Speedway. LisaColette
Steve, as you've pointed out riders tell fans what they want to hear. So Tai is telling Wolves fans what they want to hear? 😌 Exactly. Riders will tell you what they think you want to hear. Although Garrity announced at the Cov v Wolves meeting with Adams there that he had never said that. He said he liked the Wolves track but didn't ever say he wanted to ride for them. Sky obviously knew last week too otherwise they wouldn't have taken BV vs Poole off the schedule.
