R87
Has to be now if it will happen. Makes sense as his Swedish League fixtures are finished before next Wolves match.. and quite possibly his Polish too. I've been puzzled as to why people expected more from Howarth. I've never ever rated him highly and in particular never thought he was much use at Monmore. He did surprise me at the start of the season with some excellent scores and I think that gave some a false perception as to what he would produce.. Absolutely no point in putting in Clegg and Morris though, he is still better than either of those two and does have the ability to pop out and win unexpected races. There is one move Wolves have to make, that's bring Woffinden in for Kylmakorpi. Then they have a chance to contend, otherwise it will peter out with a semi-final defeat. If we are serious about being contenders in the play-offs, then Tai for Kylamkorpi has to happen, though I can't see it. Kylmakorpi's performance yesterday after his exploits on Saturday was a kick in the privates to be honest. It would be such a shame after a positive season for it to peter out like in 2013, but it does look like it will happen sadly.

stevebrum
You need to think, why is Tai on that average. We know why, he was too tired and couldn't be bothered half the time he did a full season in 2014. He clearly has no interest in a full season , however we are all putting 2 and 2 together to make a realistic assumption that because his foreign commitments are likely to end mid August he will want some extra racing in Britain. I will be hugely surprised if it happens but after Monday I'd be delighted if it did.

Doesn't mean to say you shouldn't hope it might. We would be silly to not try make it happen if he might be interested or any other team for that matter. If he signs for an EL club for the play-offs, it will be a prime case of "THE TAI(L) WAGGING THE DOG" or the WOLF.
SteveZodiac
How wonderful to see the rumor that we are replacing a rider who committed himself to a full season of racing in Britain with a rider who didn't want to know about Britain until it became clear his continental bookings are drying up. No doubt we will be able to build next year's team around him.

mdmc82
Kylmakorpi @WolvesSpeedway making changes in the team and unfortunately I'm not going to end the season with the team. I take it this means Tai is willing to come now he knows Wolves on in the play offs. Edited August 10, 2016 by mdmc82
hyabb17
If Wolves Have been ruthless enough to axe JK & bring in Tai then fair play to them. Why wouldn't you bring one of the best (if not the best) riders in the world into your side if they become available. No brainer for me. JK won't be without a side for long I wouldn't have thought.
Alex2000
Genuinely thought Woffinden would be going to Poole... but then it would be nice of him to go back to wolves , hope JK gets a team place just wonder where. LagutaRacingFan
Should Woffinden be allowed into the league on a 7 point average? He's clearly a much better rider than that.

This is Wolves, it's likely to be Watt, Bjerre or Beck returning. Woffinden would be crackers to take the BEL gig now imo

Woffinden would be crackers to take the BEL gig now imo In 1 weeks time his Swedish season is over. In 2 weeks time his Polish season is over. Both teams failed to reach play offs. He had 6 GPs left. Well 5 after saturday and no league racing. So came begging but wolves wasn't his preferred choice. But fair play wolves if they sign him. They will now be favourites so of we (belle vue) do win play offs it will make the win more sweeter
