Wolverhampton 2016

Well Wolves fans seem to be deserting their team already. Stevebrum couldn't be arsed to go to a top of the table clash!

Too busy sliding myself to be able to go at the moment.

Obviously that doesn't fit your (poor) point.

There is a difference to 'couldn't be arsed to go' from not able to.

Wolves will just have to suck up the defeat the same as we did at Poole. Sometimes there is just nothing to be done when a standout team comes along and turns you over. Belle Vue are the team to beat, or try to beat, and there's no one capable of doing it at this time.

What have you joined an ice rink? Sliding?

So you going to replace Howarth? Something needs to be done.

I'm not practising to get in Wolves team but I'm flattered you think I would make us stronger.

Howarth started well but has gone right off the boil.

Whoever we face in the play offs mean we will probably go out at that stage due to our ineffective reserves.

Shame really.

Howarth was expected to be a real trump card at reserve and in truth he has been the biggest disappointment of the team as he hasn't delivered what was expected.

Truth is there isn't anyone out there that is better to replace him with.

Lots of mumblings on the terraces tonight that we won't win anything with these reserves but there isn't a realistic option to replace them.

same old tosh !!! blame the reserves when the big money heat leaders cant score at home...yawwwwn

Nothing new here. High scoring reserves win you meetings and titles. History has proved that.

Obviously it's expected the heat leaders do their bit as well.

No excuses for Kylmakorpi,s performance last night.Cant blame his knee injury or his virus,he was fine at Daugavpils on Saturday and showed no ill effects then.

Showed no interest at all against Belle Vue,don't know why he even bothered turning up.Hes always had this stroppy attitude through out his career, but Monday night he took it to a new low.

The only way I can see Adams and CVS changing things,is if there were words between management and rider in the pits which we don't know about.

Cant see Freddie being very happy if he loses his best mate, but its a team sport and you expect better from one of your heat leaders than what we got last night.

One can also put some of the blame on Howarth, who has under performed all season. But we are stuck with him,and there are no alternatives.

Good luck to Belle Vue,they are a fine side, and deserve some success for their efforts this season.

Ps.What has happened to TNT and Starman.Just gone missing or banished to the naughty room  .

Tbf all the current team bar howarth have performed at least to expectations this season. Against the aces I think you could only day that of Clegg masters and thorssel.

It's hard to argue that howarth isn't one of the biggest disappointments of the El this season.

The foreigners just take the P*ss,even when they Turn UP.Anybody watching JK on Sat must realise that now.Bin the lot of them!!

JK was in talks with Coventry until the heatleader list was released (and King was on it) and then we wouldn't have him. Looking at his scores for you that might have been a good thing.

His average must be dropping a lot though so would have him next year if no heatleader list.

Sam Masters has been the success story for Wolves this year but like Swindon without Tungate, they struggle abit without them at reserve.

The whole rider set up in the EL needs scrapped and rethought IMO .

So Woffy on 7.03 - when is it happening??

Has to be now if it will happen.

Makes sense as his Swedish League fixtures are finished before next Wolves match.. and quite possibly his Polish too.

It's getting to the stage that if, as looks highly likely, there's nowt to be done about Howarth then I'd rather finish up with Clegg & Ash at reserve. Won't win bugger all but won't win bugger all with Howarth either.

I've been puzzled as to why people expected more from Howarth. I've never ever rated him highly and in particular never thought he was much use at Monmore.

He did surprise me at the start of the season with some excellent scores and I think that gave some a false perception as to what he would produce..

Absolutely no point in putting in Clegg and Morris though, he is still better than either of those two and does have the ability to pop out and win unexpected races.

There is one move Wolves have to make, that's bring Woffinden in for Kylmakorpi. Then they have a chance to contend, otherwise it will peter out with a semi-final defeat.
