Wolverhampton 2016

Considering Holder's average is lower than that, it is a massive risk.

Only Doyle, Janowski and Iversen have higher averages and Magic has already indicated he wont be back next season and after an up and down season it wouldn't be a suprise to see Iversen maybe give Britain a miss as it's getting tougher to stay in the top 8 next season in the GP's.

where has all this Tai will only ride for Wolves stuff come from ?

I haven't seen that in any articles anywhere, what I have seen is Pete Adams saying that he is happy to still help and support Tai in GP's while he isn't riding over here but that if Tai rides elsewhere in the UK then PA will stop helping him in GP's.

that doesn't mean Tai will only ride for Wolves, he'll ride for who pays him best. that is if he wants to ride over here

Tai was very happy at Wolves and if he was to ride in Britain he sees no reason to ride anywhere else but Britain is not in his plans apart from trying to help them get better training and support for the up and coming riders like Lambert, Garrity etc who are the future of Team GB and hopefully this will happen next year.

Tai has a great back up team and Pete Adams is part of that in the pits and away from the track and is very helpful to a number of riders at Wolves especially on race days just as Midlo is at Poole.

Thats a myth. If KK is crap in the UK he's crap everywhere. He just goes through good and bad spells like no other. Take 12-18 months ago, one of, if not the best rider in the World, take today, riding like a big girl, everywhere!

BV fans will confirm he can be great. Coventry fans have seen both too, as have Lakeside fans.

sacked 3 times for lack of effort , and by 3 different clubs, tells a different story.

Belle Vue and Poole may have good memories of him but he been at best indifferent everywhere else.

I pity any team that employs him next year in the EL if he wants back in.

It's common knowledge. Adams has publically stated if Woffy wants to ride elsewhere in the EL he would have to be sold and Adams wouldn't be part of his GP team.

Woffy has no reason to ride anywhere other than Wolves in the EL. His issue (like a lot of the top boys) is too many meetings - nothing else.

And KK was riding badly abroad when he was sacked in this country. It's not like he ride well in one country but not another, which is the point.

I think we all know that KK can be crap, in fact beyond crap!

beyond crap, all too often.

Until it actually happens that is.....

IF.

Thing is with Kasprzak I could see a scenario where he starts the season for Wolves, rides himself into form, then drops racing over here.

If he starts the season with wolves I will be finding something else to do with my Mondays. I cannot and will not support an EL user.

No idea why he is being mentioned on a Wolves thread. I'd assume, and hope, there is zero chance of him coming to us.

Not a good crowd here at all tonight. Pretty much get the feeling that most people with gold and black blood can't wait for this sorry shambolic season to end.

It also doesn't help that EL speedway has been pretty much closed down for weeks.

My universe is REALITY.

The one where a rider can be top of the averages in one country and 25th in another. This sort of thing happens every single year.

Freddie Lindgren was top of the EL averages in the UK when the league was strong, he was nowhere near the top in Sweden at the same time, racing against the same riders.

Other riders are the opposite.

Why don't you try asking any rider who races in different countries and they will tell you the differences.

They have different teams, different setups across Europe. It might all be working perfectly in one country, not so well in the next.

2014 was very, very disappointing, but there were many factors that went into that.

Not sure if you were top of the El why you be top of the much stronger Swedish league ...not sure if he was riding v the same riders Hancock ,Emil ,Gollob ,Nicki etc as they don't ride in the El ....so pretty silly point ....Tai was flying high in the top leagues but in the weakest league his own he was shocking due to his poor bikes and bad attitude

Joel Anderson showed up well and looked at home on the track and should be useful asset next season and in the strength of teams that are being talked about Freddie Lindgren should be a good number one.

It looks like being a very different set up next year and it looks like it's either one big league or an Elite League made up from affordable riders that can commit to a season of 20 home and 20 away matches.

Rumours go around and possibly four or five of tonight's line up could be the basis of the team next season that could point to one big league with a limit around 42.50 set up from Premier league averages

But that is just a rumour that appears to have some sense to it when you consider how some tracks are struggling and top class riders are leaving the shores to race abroad.

Britain could have gone for a strong Elite League run one night a week or combine with the Premier league and it looks like the Elite League is about to be buried.
