EnglishRoundabout
Masters and Bech are inspired signings in my opinion. Much does depend on Lindgren regaining his touch, but Wolves will be a right handful this season I reckon. Guess my gut feeling is looking accurate at the minute. Two excellent away wins for the Wolves so far.
Hornsey
Sky Sports have announced that they have scheduled three Wolves matches for live broadcast: Mon 09 May - Coventry v Wolves; Mon 30 May - Wolves v King's Lynn; Wed 01 June - Lakeside v Wolves (being a re-arranged date). Great news that Sky are showing so much Speedway. Is there a link that shows what is coming up? I can't find it! Thanks lee
Reviresco
Great news that Sky are showing so much Speedway. Is there a link that shows what is coming up? I can't find it! Thanks lee Sky Sports TV show their schedules on their web-site, but this is notoriously slow in being updated: http://www.skysports.com/watch/speedway-on-sky Best place for updates is most probably their Twitter feed: https://twitter.com/skyspeedway Otherwise, news and discussions can be found on the Speedway on TV 2016 Thread on the Speedway News and Discussions Forum: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=80985&p=2737045 Then of course there are the SGPs and SWC which are to be shown on BT Sport and there is talk of Swedish League speedway being shown again on Eurosport this season. If you're interested in Polish League coverage, these are usually available via streams, links to which are posted on the International World of Speedway Forum. Hope this help. Tommy Sweetman
Max Clegg is clearly out of his depth at both EL and PL.For his sake,he needs to be given a rest from Wolves duties, cant be good for his confidence when he can hardly pick up a point. Don't know what the rules are now(they seem to change every five minutes)for the reserve berths. Could Ashley Morris replace Max as tier two FTR ?.

R87
Clegg has been able to hide so far due to the other riders in the side scoring big points. Unfortunately Howarth having a poor night at Poole exposed him.
Wolfsbane
Can one of the brains trust advise? Can we replace Bech & Clegg with PK & Ash?
stevebrum
Can one of the brains trust advise? Can we replace Bech & Clegg with PK & Ash? Ash is already our 2nd tier 2 rider so I'd imagine yes. PK finished on 5.51 last season. Bech is 6.48. So yes !!

That's what I hoped. It's got to be done, we've had enough of the loyalty BS, let's have a shot at it all. Strengthen when you're on a roll. Over to you CVS and don't spare the chequebook Wolves would be mad not to make both those changes. We are talking Van Straaten & Adams here CR Edited May 9, 2016 by Wolfsbane
ouch
Why is Bech always shown as d/u on the bspa team sheets?
R87
Bech's not got going yet, but I wouldn't lose faith in him just yet. He's been unfortunate to be in a difficult spot in the side as well as picking up an injury. But he does need to start performing better soon. While we are performing well we can carry him a little, particularly if he might drop to reserve. He seems to have gone backwards each season so we need to see an improvement soon or I can see changes on the card. I'm sure PK is dusting off his goggles as we speak in case he gets a call.

I make Wolves team by order of average next week to be Joonas, Freddie, Jacob, Masters, Howarth, Bech, Clegg/Morris
Tommy Sweetman
That's what I hoped. It's got to be done, we've had enough of the loyalty BS, let's have a shot at it all. Strengthen when you're on a roll. Over to you CVS and don't spare the chequebook We are talking Van Straaten & Adams here CR Completely agree, that's the logical way forward. But unfortunately logic have never been CVS and Adams strong points. Morris has to replace Clegg as our first choice tier 2 rider. Why not use one of our own, rather than borrow one from the Spoons. He is clearly more ready for the task than Max is at the moment,as it showed in last nights meeting and when he rode for Lynn last year. Regards Bech,he was clearly signed on the performance he showed for Lakeside against us last season(15 points ?). Don't know whats gone wrong with him so far this season, but he looks a shadow of the rider that amassed that total at Monmore. Not quite sure what to say about PK.He wasn't really up to pace when I watched him in the Swedish League last week, although he was up against much better riders. Think he would struggle to come from the back even in our watered down league. But if he could make starts on a consistent basis, could make a huge difference to the team. So its really up to the management wether they have the ambition to make these changes whilst we are in a strong position. If past years are anything to go by,then the answer will be, stick with what weve got. But it could well be,after they got the bo!!ocking off Dave Parry in the winter that things must change, perhaps we are in for a surprise.
Wolfsbane
Yep, there is a doubt about whether PK could still do it, especially as every year goes by. The question is would he be scoring more than Bech? We know the latter is struggling, I can't believe PK wouldn't do better.

dabbsjoe
Bech's problem last night anyway is getting out of the starts. in his second ride he was barely 5 metres out of the gate and he's already looking down at his bike. if he's down at reserve as of next week I'd give him a go and see if he can get it sorted and get some confidence. if not I'd ship him out and make a phone call to a club asset at least Edited May 10, 2016 by Joe1986
FAST GATER
Agreed, that would be my worry. Was this not his first meeting of the season maybe a little "ring rusty" IMO would still be the best s/string in the EL
