INCOGNITO
While there is going to be speculation on who is going to be the new number one next season it has to be seen if there is even going to be an Elite League in 2016. Swindon have lost their stadium and work hasn't even started on a new one next door but new houses have gone up next to it. Lakeside are likely to close and while Kent are to take on their licence it doesn't mean they are going to be in the Elite League at all. Speedway has to have a major change but it will probably just change a few things that are not important

SteveEvans
I have no question of a doubt there will be an EL in 2016 In name if not in product! Lets also remember with Tai he had his pre Auckland injury at Leicester right at start of the year.
heathen chemistry
woffys been tapped up by ford, poole need a replacement for ward, reason woffy looked like he wasnt bothered in the british league was that it didnt pay enough, ford will offer him big money thou
Wolfsbane
Really?? You honestly believe that? He'd have been slaughtered! Let's not forget, it was riding for Wolves at Eastbourne that Tai ploughed through the fence picking up an injury which pretty much cost him at least a medal in the World Championships. The 'ridiculous' drop in his average was compounded by the race format. Another year he'd still have been around the 9 mark. Chris Holder went through similar this year. Yep, really, honestly. Slaughtered no, criticised yes, but ultimately his position would have been understood, at least by me anyway.

FAST GATER
It all adds up, the old format, easy race comes along that you win and your confidence and interest levels pick up again. It's similar to the old system when a rider dropped to reserve and suddenly he could beat riders he couldn't get near to before.. Or now, when a rider drops to second string he'll suddenly start beating the heat leaders he was clueless against previously. Momentum, confidence etc should never be underestimated. Spot on I hate the current format for the reasons you state how many FTS riders have gone into main body of their teams Lewis sadly retired and IMO was one of the better FT riders just money saving nothing else . SteveLyric2
So 'top' riders can't cope with riding against fellow EL heat leaders and 2nd strings yet can perform well enough in the GPs, Sweden and Poland where the other 'top' riders are?! Not about money or loyalty at all really then - just the really tough EL.........................!!??

The reality however is that if Woffy wanted to race EL if would be for Wolves. The EL offers more meetings and chances to earn, however the amount of meetings prevents a lot of the top boys wanting here anymore sadly. If I remember rightly Tai had a good season in Poland and Sweden in 2014 ,and was in a run off to finish 3rd in the World.Problem was in 2014 Tai declined to bring his best equipment to England, feeling he could get away with inferior kit to his Polish/Swedish/GP gear.Confidence was not the problem inferior equipment was

Reviresco
Tai has tweeted already that he is signed up for Sweden, Vetlanda, and Poland, Wroclaw, for 2016 and that his Polish contract is for 2017 too. He's also said that speculation that he's returning to EL, amongst other things, is a mile off...
Tommy Sweetman
If that's correct then it'll be interesting to see which country he misses out on, Sweden or Poland? Didnt Tai state he would only ride for a club thats got Pete Adams as team manager. With all this Poole stuff going on,perhaps hes taking Adams to the south coast to replace Middlo.
