EnglishRoundabout
That's a decent competitive side.
Woz01
1 Jonas Kylmakorpi 2 Sam Masters 3 Jacob Thorssell 4 Fredrik Lindgren 5 Mikkel Bech 6 Kyle Howarth 7 Max Clegg Freddie will take over the #1 jacket when he is in the team's top three. Away from Monmore could be the downfall again Agree with the last bit. Cant see Wolves doing anything away from home unless Lindgrens form picks up this season. Masters back at Edinburgh? He will miss a few too with 3 Friday tracks in the EL.

Wolfsbane
So Masters signs for Wolves then sometime later signs for Headinbra yet the latter have 1st claim on his services when fixtures clash? Really?
stevebrum
So Masters signs for Wolves then sometime later signs for Headinbra yet the latter have 1st claim on his services when fixtures clash? Really? Who owns him?? If it's a PL club then they get priority. However if it's an EL club then it's us.
Pirate Nick
I think he's a Somerset asset.
Mr Blobby
Masters is a Somerset asset. Edinburgh will get priority over Sam and max in any fixture clashes next season.

Max is a Dudley asset isn't he? What's the priority for NL assets? I'm assuming PL anyway.

Yes he's a Dudley asset not to sure about what happens with priority if a NL asset, but I know that we have priority over max.

I'd assume so too, but it's not clear so far then. Certainly going to be one of my questions to CVS at the pre season talk in.
CaptainAudi
So Masters signs for Wolves then sometime later signs for Headinbra yet the latter have 1st claim on his services when fixtures clash? Really? He was announced by both clubs on the same day (1st of December), so not really clear who he signed for first. He is a Somerset asset, which is probably why Edinburgh get priority. If the 'Rider' wasn't an asset of either club, then it goes to what league the rider is an asset off.

I think that is the way it was described last year, but the rules change that often it's probably something completely different by now! The fog appears when the rider is an asset of a club in neither league (as is the case with Max Clegg)...

Makes it interesting how that works with NL assets tho.
Wolfsbane
Ok, thanks for the replies. Hiring riders in full knowledge that they'll miss meetings, madness.
superguest
Thats the main reason im not that excited about the team signed up. I read somewhere that Cook has never ridden for BV at Lakeside due to his edinburgh commitments. Even if they may look better on paper we should have gone with one of Ashley Morris or Ricky instead of Max or Sam. mdmc82
Ok, thanks for the replies. Hiring riders in full knowledge that they'll miss meetings, madness. Not forgetting Howarth who will also miss meetings if there are clashes due to being a PL asset.
INCOGNITO
Masters should miss any clashes with any scheduled Edinburgh matches and so should Max Clegg as like Lewis Blackbird last year the Premier League team got priority plus Max could miss meetings if there is a clash with Cradley fixtures. Howarth being a Workington asset also could miss meetings and with A and B fixtures that could be six Fridays for Edinburgh and more for Workington so away it could be about 4 away meetings with all three present at worst. Freddie can't be as bad as last season surely and Bech should be better than his average suggests but I can't help think they would have been better off with Wells and someone like Leon Madsen or had they have acted quicker Krzysztof Buczkowski who will be a match winner at Poole as a second string and better at tracks like Poole Swindon Coventry Kings Lynn and Leicester plus the new much bigger Belle Vue track. Poole Swindon Kings Lynn and Belle Vue look much stronger and even Lakeside are starting to look solid and Coventry are not going to be easy. So at present it looks like another 7th place team to me at the moment.
stevebrum
Not forgetting Howarth who will also miss meetings if there are clashes due to being a PL asset. Swindon on a Thursday. Hopefully the fixture list will minimise the rest.

Think Ricky will be first port of call when Masters is missing.Thats if he wants to of course. He might well tell CVS"Well you didnt want me in the first place when you picked Jacob over me,so go and get someone else to make up the numbers". But speedway doesnt work like that does it.As well as enjoying the adrenaline rush, they are also there to make a living.
