Wolfsbane
My gob has never been so smacked. As I predicted earlier in the thread the 'gobsmacked' comment wasn't that we'd be happy, it was that we wouldn't believe, especially after last season, that they could screw up again.Masters fine, Thorssell a mistake. What's the team total? C'mon someone, sign PK, please
foreverblue
i think this is a good solid team and one that can challenge for honours, Masters is a improving rider and so is Thorsell, get Freddie going well again and it could be a good season for Wolves. stevebrum
Could wolves drop howarth once hes in the top 5 and bring in pk. Not seen it mentioned (as is the case with most things BSPA related) but I hope they the reserves are both protected roles. Otherwise we will be making the same mistakes that the PL do by dropping youngsters for rubbish foreigners on low averages.
waiheke1
I'd be certain that you need two draft riders. Very puzzled at choosing masters and thorssel ahead of pk, unless it's true that pk wanted too much money.

g13webb
Considering the weakened state of this Elite league, I think this Wolves team is pretty good and will hold their own in 2016. 3 solid HL's 2 good 2nd Strings and 2 decent reserves is a good all round team. Quite a few have improvements in them, none more so than Fast Freddie. Joonas is a capable and reliable rider, whereas Bech will become special. Masters and Thorsell are above average and the reserves will hold their own. Don't understand the problems with some of you fans. They'll win more matches than they lose........... Easy, Play off contenders................
outofdarkness
Love you're optimism, although it is if's and but's on whether they all fire on all cylinders. We ,as many have already said, haven't been gobsmacked by fantastic signings but it is different to how they normally build.Thorsell is a No no signing for me, i feel we've seen the best of him.PK should have been signed still life in the legend and his experience in a young ish team is invaluable. We'll just have to wait and see if this team are hungry for success. Time will tell

FAST GATER
PK should have been signed I am sure it's all about money or a lack( he is not ultra keen ) of it being offered to him , should it all crash and burn he will then be made an offer I am sure if no one else has courted him first . mdmc82
Could wolves drop howarth once hes in the top 5 and bring in pk. No. You still have to have two riders from the draft for the year, so he could be replaced with another rider on the draft list
g13webb
3 solid heat leaders? Which team are you looking at again? Obviously a difference of opinions. I think you are expecting too much. Collectively Freddie, Joonas and Bech will score similar to other teams HL trios. You may well say, you lose most Ht 15 and feel justified. but you might be surprised..... Freddie was poor last year, but he still is a quality rider, one most teams would love to have . All you need is for Freddie to hit some previous form, in now what is a weakened league, and you'll be laughing. There'll be more team weaker than you than those that are stronger. Like I say a solid all round team..... Edited December 2, 2015 by GRW123
ShropWolf
Well we have 4 months to the season starting and we have talk of dropping a rider I'm happy with the team and Kyle won't be at reserve all season so it's a win win situation. I hate negativity we should encourage our selections not discourage. Enjoy Xmas and look forward to March to see what's in store for the Wolves fans. dabbsjoe
Thorsell has a higher average than Lindgren, 6.18 compared to 6.11. does this mean that Lindgren will be starting the season at number 2 or 4 ?
superguest
Im intrigued to see how Kyle Howarth will do. Hes either amazing or unnoticeable. I really hope it works out for him & us, plus its good to have a potentially decent British rider! I expect Sam to improve as the season progresses. Ive seen very little of him ride. Most of the pressure is going to fall on Freddie & JK. Be interesting to see how they ride together! Its not a bad team considering the amount of riders available. However, its not an immediately strong looking side.
Wolfsbane
Interesting they announced the remaining 2 riders the week after the talk in, what a surprise. Coincidence or to head off at the pass an avalanche of embarrassing why no PK questions? If, as seems a popular opinion on here, it's about money, it would have been interesting to watch CVS try to spin his way out of it because, as is usual, he wouldn't admit the truth. I know which one my money's on and it ain't coincidence. Maybe I'm just a cynical old sod but it's pretty certain Masters & Thorssell were signed prior to the talk in but they were told there's an embargo on the news until after last tuesday. The announcement has been left for a week because to announce it earlier would have been too obvious.
