On Facebook TNT says he has been told PK is NOT on the heat leader list..

but he's not in our plans... go figure.

If that is true************

Have those two lost whatever brain cells they have left.

5.51 and not in the plans.PK could have been paired with Fred.

Speechless and angry.

And they wonder why fans are turning their backs.

Both parts of that are farcical. I'm just not sure which is to the greater extent. If true I'd happily see pk at belle vue

Only if Max doesn't come back, which I hope he does.

But in the event that he doesn't, that'd be a v. good signing all things considered.

If it's all true I'd happily watch PK rub the 2 idiot's noses right in it. Tomorrow night should be interesting. You really do get the feeling that all this stuff is part of CVS & Adams exit plan. They are taking the pi$$ and don't care who knows it

The point you have overlooked is that PK doesn't come cheap. That was apparently the whole issue with Lakeside, he still wanted a number 1's money for a second strings points in his last season as a Hammer. He does have a great pedigree, and is entitled to earn whatever he can at this stage of his career but one of the issues might very well be that CVA might not be prepared to pay the sort of money he wants for a second string role, and at this stage of his career he might not want to come over for what Wolves can afford. It's not as if he needs the experience.

If Sam Masters is coming in it could be that the other space goes to Joel Andersson who impressed in the appearance he had and with Freddie and Kylmakorpi he should benefit from the experience and could be a surprise packet.

As for PK maybe he isn't looking at Britain this year and doing what his brothers do and spend more time with his family and kids who are grown up now. He did that before and at 45 he could be slowing down his racing career.

Wolves have been blamed for not looking beyound the usual faces and if they go with Andersson instead of PK you have to give them credit for moving forward.

Maybe PK may get a place elsewhere and looks a bargain on 5.51 but he is not the rider he was and while some think it is a bargain it could also be a gamble as Andersson may be the better option

Sam Masters is more of a concern I feel and I would think that Kacper Gomolski or Dakota North or Josh Grajczoneck would be better options if available and surprised Coventry never went for one of them instead of Woryna

Zengota will be a heat leader so wouldn't be able to sign now by the looks of it and may be staying at Swindon with Doyle any way.

After some good performance last season It's a surprise Wolves picked Max Clegg instead of Ashley Morris who isn't wanted back by Ipswich who have completed their team already

Why would Zengota be on the heat leader list?

Can't believe that PK is not in especially if he is not a H/L

it's only speculation who is or isn't on the list and if PK is not coming back right now. Nothing official announced on either.

Zengota will be a heat leader

Again, that's the speculation. No indication that's true or not.

Finished the season as Swindon s top rider and on 7.79 only bettered by Doyle

Might make no difference.

Lambert started as second string and finished 2nd in the Stars final averages whilst Andersen started as heat leader and finished 2nd string and is rumoured to be second string at Poole!

The only thing that could clear it up is this elusive HL list!

I can't understand the attraction of signing Thorsell over Wells.

Wells home average is far superior to Thorsell's whilst hardly any difference away,

We already have the 3 heat leaders or else I think most would pick Ricky over Thorsell. Personally I would have them both if possible :) Edited by hansen4wolves08

I can understand those who would prefer Joel to PK, apart from the age thing & moving on. However history has proven that unless riders new to Britain are absolute superstars eg Ward, then any newbie needs to be in a 'decent' side with his team mates doing enough to keep the team winning while he settles in & realises his potential. IMO up to yet, this Wolves side doesn't seem to be capable of that. PK's forgotten more about British tracks than most will ever know, so there's the conundrum.

With regards to the heat leader list, the BSPA have obviously decided that being open with supporters causes to much discussion, most of which is critical, so the way to go is mushroom management, keep 'em in the dark and feed 'em $hit. It will backfire on them, it always does.

If CVS is that concerned about his paying customers, here's an idea. When folks walk into the Cleveland Arms tonight and pay their £2 they are given a copy of the list. That's assuming one exists as it may well be the case that non-publication is to allow for more making it up as they go along, in the best interests of Speedway of course.:rolleyes:

Extract from a statement PK made in September,

"We are in it to win every year,we really need next season to be much better.

We have had two bad seasons, and we hope next year we can be back on a high again"

That dosent sound to me that he wants to give the UK a miss,or indeed leave Wolves.

As regards salary, both he and the managment know the state that British speedway is in at the moment, and realise that cuts have to be made.

Does PK still ride in Poland ?.

That's irrelevant and should have nothing to do with who is or isn't on the list.

The point of the list is to separate those with an artificially low average who have spent most of the season as a heat leader... and those with an inflated average who spent most of the season as a second string.
