Wolverhampton 2016

Impressed we aren't staying faithful to the assets for a change.

Always been impressed with bech although he does seem to have stalled the past couple of seasons.

5 down and 2 more to go.

Am guessing it's going to be more a solid line up than adding a big hitter now.

Given the amount of star drop outs next season we could be assembling a decent team.

It's got nothing to do with the heat leader list Steve.

The 'list' is just to prevent clubs from signing lots of riders on falsely low averages, it doesn't mean they will be starting as heat leaders.

Yea I get that, but I don't get the secrecy over it!

In isolation, i.e. without the rest of the side, I think this is a good signing. He scored 16 (from 6) last year riding for Lakeside. He was impressive and looked comfortable on the circuit. Obviously I don't expect that on a week to week basis. A lot of sides look weak at the moment, so perhaps the league will a bit more level this year. I await the final two riders with interest.

And SCB, I should wait to see who the Bees have before you laugh too much.

I've already got low expectation for us. We have Danny King as a heat leader for a start! But at least we can still potentially sign another heat leader, you guys can't. It's more of a "HaHa" look how rubbish the EL has become. I've already said elsewhere that its not good for any team to be on the back foot for the off and struggling but sadly I can see that being the case this year. The BSPA have totally messed up.

Wondered how long it would be before the Wolves anti-christ crawled out of his cave.

He's the same with Swindon. Has a little gloat at other clubs problems and issues.

Really??! SCB is normally one of the fair ones. Probably just banter.

I think some people are just getting a little delicate these days ;) Especially the Swindon fans as I don't really remember saying too much bad about them. Wolves fans maybe as I often give stevebrum a bit of stick which obviously means giving Wolves some stick but he seems to take it as it's intending and gives back as good as he gets.

Now Poole, I really do stick the boot in but then everyone does :D In fact Coventry are probably the club I give the most stick to. I bet Neil Watson reads my posts rolls his eyes and says, "not again" quite often :D

If you just read ER comment on it's own, you'd think they were talking about Starman! :D Edited by lisa-colette

Its very simple really.

Reserves have the highest averages though we're not allowed to know them

Second strings have the next highest averages

Then the big names score the least points.

Given who is on the highest points money its the ultimate cost cutting measure!

Any other time the signing of Mikkel Bech 6.16 would be a great signing but it looks like this is the heat leader trio and the liklihood is that two from Jacob Thorssell 6.18 Ricky Wells 5.91 Joel Andersson 5.50 ? and Sam Masters 5.60 will be the final places.

That is well short of the 40.5 limit and every team bar Swindon look like being the same and it could be that the limit is changed to about 39
