BWitcher
There is one rider in that Peterborough side I would be happy to see Wolves sign and that's Kenni Larsen.

Phil The Ace
So next year you will race on alternative Mondays with Cradley. Do you like or not??
mdmc82
Problem with that could be fitting in fixtures if Wolves have rain offs
Wolfsbane
Interesting that it's on the Spoon OS but not a dickie on Wolves OS. Anyone would think they're a bit worried about the reaction of Wolves fans to 1 home match a fortnight. Plus this appears to be confirmation that the new deal with Ladbrokes is for Mondays thus excluding Wolves from signing riders who don't want Poland-UK-Sweden on consecutive days.

Plus this appears to be confirmation that the new deal with Ladbrokes is for Mondays thus excluding Wolves from signing riders who don't want Poland-UK-Sweden on consecutive days. Nigel Pearson says one of the reasons they were able to return to Monmore is because Wolves have only 14 home matches. Nothing said yet about alternative nights,or what other meetings Wolves would be able to fit in.
Phil The Ace
Would woffy fancy a return knowing he will only have a home match once every 2 weeks.

BWitcher
It's interesting.. For the past few years it's been debated that speedway has two options. Option A: Fortnightly speedway with strong teams Option B: Weekly speedway but weaker teams. There were many fans, Wolves included, who didn't want fortnightly speedway. Likewise there were many other fans, Wolves included, who didn't want the weaker teams. In typical speedway fashion we now have the worst of both options.. Fortnightly speedway with weaker teams. The reality is that we've had that for the last couple of seasons, this year they are just going to make it obvious!

And instead of TNT's idea of running a PL team on the non EL Monday (which may or may not have been practical), we end up with a bunch of Spoons

Of course! And on one Monday his costs are a hell of a lot lower.
stevebrum
Just why do Wolves need to put out any official statement about Cradley? ? It's between Ladbrookes and Cradley. Little surprised that Cradley are running on a Monday tho, just hope that doesn't backfire on Wolves as clearly CVS is thinking with his heart on this one. As far as I'm concerned Wolves have seniority over fixtures so if there are issues with not enough Mondays then Cradley will have to give way or move to alternative days. Cradley coming back shouldn't have any effect on our home meetings.

Cradley coming back shouldn't have any effect on our home meetings. The statement isn't just about Cradley. The statement clearly states Wolverhampton Speedway will be running on alternate Mondays. The very fact that Wolves fans are questioning it is reason enough for a statement to have been issued. The lack of one simply treats supporters with contempt and the attitude of "Why should we put a statement out" just fuels that. Although the number of meetings won't change, fortnightly speedway is something a number of fans have been very vocally against... now it is here.
shadowfax
Well CVS & Adams had better put out a fantastic team with a meeting once a fortnight because if they ride like they have for the last few seasons his crowds will dwindle
