INCOGNITO
Fantasy speedway perhaps but this team fits! 1 Jason Doyle 9.44 2 Troy Batchelor 6.91 3 Fredrik Lindgren 6.11 4 Ricky Wells 5.91 5 Thomas H Jonasson 5.69 6 Josh Bates 3.35 7 Ashley Morris 3.00 Total: 40.41 Joel Andersson is set to be in the Elite League and Wolverhampton is the most likely destination but what average will he come in on. Anything above 5.5 is a gamble and unless you can land a Dudek or Zmarzlik new faces may not be the best option and more trusted riders like Schlein or Barker may be better signings for consistency

INCOGNITO
Not sure if Ricky will be classed as a heat leader or Jacob Thorssell but Freddie Lindgren and Bjerre are likely to be. So Bjerre on a sub 6 average will start at 1 3 or 5 while a rider like Lambert could be a second string with Schlein also a heat leader ? It is a bit of a concern that a list of 24 heat leaders will be made up to ensure each team has 3. However if a new 6.50 rider comes in he will be added to the list. This means one of the 24 won't get a team place and if one team decides to go with only two from the list that is another not getting a team place. When full details are released hopefully it will be more understandable but it seems to be a tough decision for some
stevebrum
steve brumlogic. thinks they will end in roughly same average but would rather have the one on nearly 1.5 higher starting averagr because he rates him higher. seems lots of primoters use the same logic, which is why poole end up with tge best team year sfter yrar It's not real rocket science. It's maximising the points limit to the full that makes it logic. Given that no one is signed and no idea what points would be left it's all surmise at this stage anyway. As a club asset it makes more logic to use you're own asset , obviously points limit allowing.

Yes and no. It depends on who is available. We've always put assets first and that is when we have had a true #1. For the first time we don't have one. No one is safe and the team should be built top down.
waiheke1
id rather use a non asset likely to gain in average than a club asset whi is not. if you build to the limit with a 6+ pointer who will average 6, you arecweakening the rest of your team if u could instead have had a sub 5 pointer who will average 6. it only makes sense if u think wolves are incapabke of building a team up to or close to tge points limit, which would hsrdly be a good sign.

I agree, no one should be safe until we have a rider capable of doing a number ones job.Part of me does wonder if the management are already investing in Joel Andersson for next season. On a 6.5 average he is too big a gamble and as a likely heat leader. Not sure he is any further forward in his career than Jacob is. stevebrum
Joel Andersson wont be on a 6.5 average. It's unclear on what newcomers averages will be. In fairness I misread the BSPA update saying new none British riders assessed at 6.50 will be added to the heat leaders list. It doesn't say all newcomers will be assessed at that average. KIRKYLANE
By the way they rode in 2015 , a clear out would be the best route to take...
INCOGNITO
I think Joel Andersson is going to be assessed at 5.50. May not be the number one but could Craig Cook 7.29 be set to join Wolves so he can continue with Edinburgh as Belle Vue are going to be a Friday night track next season. Think Cook wants to try his luck abroad & leave the Premier League as that's why Ashley Holloway does his engines now.

Woz01
What happened to that Oliver Berntzen (sic) chappy? Looked a talent in 2014 but when noticing his scores it seems he went backwards in 2015.

stevebrum
What happened to that Oliver Berntzen (sic) chappy? Right call on him not coming this season. Went backwards and virtually off the radar. Shame really, looked a huge talent.
INCOGNITO
Considering that reserves can now move up into the main body of the team it is vital that you have a second string that will be a possible match winner when they drop down and therefore a low average to start with could be the key. Who would be the best option for this position from Tobiasz Musielak, Nicolai Klindt or Stuart Robson
