BWitcher
More an 'option' than a 'rule' in 2016 for those clubs that wish to use it immediately!! The farce grows with each passing season..
T.N.T.
These were put forward at the AGM but not introduced because one track said they had already signed riders before this was an option but it can be used if you want. Firstly it serves clubs right for signing riders before the limits and rules have been set and secondly it seems that the AGM is done in the wrong order as the first business in an AGM is to appoint the board and positions. It appears these are done towards the end of the meeting as we have heard from Buster Chapman that issues at the meeting were bought in by the former regime. I think it's a step in the right direction and have been on about a squad type format being used for years as the way forward. If they can get the Elite League to run on one night (plus Monday Sky meeting) next season and the Premier League to run on the other nights it will be even better. This needs to be done in a three year plan and by 2018 we should see a more detailed programme for teams in both leagues with or without the top names but hopefully with in a shortened fixture list. The problem this year, hopefully a one off, was that it was agreed to hold the AGM a month earlier while forgetting that the constitution only allowed them to vote at the traditional time, hence the extra meeting at the beginning of November to tie up the loose ends.

Gemini
Looks like it will be Poole v Belle Vue every week then, with Poole champions every year of course so no change there.

brianbuck
Seems like an error in Speedway Star in respect of the start time for the Good Friday Belle Vue v Wolverhampton match. Belle Vue have confirmed that the start time is definitely 1pm - not 7.30pm as printed twice in the Star.
Lefty
Regarding 'Belle Vue v Wolves'. start-time. This week's Speedy Star now has 1pm * Belle Vue web site 1pm * SGB website (tbc) - Wolves website on Dave Parry Coaches report suggests midday!!! Start time concerns are now overshadowed by a lack of confidence in the Good Friday date. When do we find out? - probably at 1:10pm on Good Friday

magnificentseven
Apparently it has been announced at Cradley's talk in that Friday's meeting is off.
stevebrum
It's as I expected. Proves there is way too much work to do to rectify the problem.
stevebrum
Just back from the press and practice. Joonas and Fred looked very quick, Fred I think was on a Gerhard engine? Joonas had number one on his bike and kit. The rest I couldn't make out or hear. Cradley and MDL riders also taking part. Meant to add Erik Riss looked awesome too! Red Flag
Didn't think Freddie looked that fast to be honest, agree about Erik Riss wonder if he will be the next Monarch heading here?

Once he got going he looked much quicker, Joonas was way quicker tho. I really hope Riss does end up at Wolves.

The boy certainly knows how to ride a bike. Great talent who I look forward to watch progress again this season.
