Can't see how Howarth is at reserve with an EL average from last season???

He didn't even have a full season 14 league matches (12 with Swindon, 2 with Cov).

I'm guessing also that he isn't to be included in any starting team 1-5 line up also.

Maybe if Swindon had stood by him and he stayed in a starting line up he maybe well have not been included. Guess it's Swindons fault!

Not relevant if he's a reserve as its down to Premier League averages.

I guess if he was in the top 5 he'd maintain his Elite league average.

But it IS relevant!! If he has a current EL average then that's what should be used! More cr@p from the BSPA!

No more crap than using Premier league averages for the rest though.

I assume others like Richie Worrall will also come back on a non elite league average even though they have one.

Richie I can understand as he didn't ride EL last season - Howarth did!

The same cr@p that's kept top EL draft rider Kyle Newman way down the pecking order . Rules can only be fair if they apply to ALL teams and riders.

its always utter cr@p

using PL averages for EL wat a cop out , newman has the highest EL average of the draft riders, yet stays at reserve!

i bet come play off brady kurtz goes through a bad time to keep his average down to enable him to be a reserve and have 7 rides thereby taking newmans rides away frm him

is this wat the draft was for?

I don't mind Howarth being a reserve but his EL average should be used for team building.

there is no way that a 5.5+ rider should be at reserve in this watered down league. Looks like BSPA back scratching to me and it stinks!

But if he is it gives his side less points to play with. Its not like he doesn't have an average and will stick at reserve all year.

Absolutely, after his first four meetings he could end up as Wolves no'1 on a 10 average

He has a lower Premier league average than others who are in the draft & as its down to those averages I can't see a problem.

Surely he must come in on his EL average of 5.53.

The converted PL calculation was brought in for last years fast track rides who's averages were inflated by the race format for reserves.

Howarth wasn't a reserve and attained a genuine EL average.

Stunning hypocricy. Every 2nd string also has am inflated average.

Should have been a converted el average for all riders. And should be three Brits per team minimum. Looks like they are making sure all the best Brits have a team place and that is a good thing
