Hopefully Havvy will use that article for motivation, that extra 5% can make the difference. Apparently there have been several lorries seen going into Brandon this morning. Deep and grippy me thinks.

Starman2006
I think you will find first and formost the message to the curators will be to make sure the meeting goes ahead and that the track is prepared to withstand a couple of showers. The track would still have been very wet yesterday, hopefully, they would have had sombody there midday ish to turn it over with the mesh, to at least dry it out a bit. and if you have had no rain in the morning it could eventually be prepared in the normal way. Dirt is the last thing they will be being delivered...

There was a time when speedway was far more popular than rugby, how times change. Hope they get a good crowd tonight

Its Englands 1st of 4 group games and lets be honest the are overwhelming favourites. The football world cup would be a different story in terms of excitement and viewing figures. I'm recording the Rugby and hoping Yorke doesn't announce the result! Bees and England double would be ideal 😉 Edited September 18, 2015 by woz01

Just hoping i don't get wind of the score during the meeting. Phone is staying at home! Hopefully bees will do the job tonight and then I won't be so bothered about missing it!
