Coventry V Poole Elsf 1

Recommended Posts

Our new "temporary" Bee just scored 14 from 6 rides for his Latvian team, Daugavpils in the Polish Div 1 playoff in Bydgoszcz and rode very well. Don't think he will let the Bees down as his team should clean up in their home leg on Sunday.

Regards. Alan.

When you look at the line ups, there really isn't much in it. Both teams have riders who on the day can be sensational or mediocre. For me it will be Howarth/Watt and Sarjeant/Starke who will decide this meeting. If Howarth displays his form from his last couple of races Wednesday and Sargeant sits still at the start the Bees could take a an tidy lead to the second leg.

1. Chris Harris 1. Chris Holder

2. Kyle Howarth 2. Davey Watt

3. Danny King 3. Dakota North

4. Hans Andersen 4. Kacper Gomolski

5. Freddie Lindgren 5. Maciej Janowski

6. Jason Garrity. 6. Kyle Newman

7. James Sarjeant 7. Paul Starke

It all depends on how they ride on the night - all riders will need to raise their game but on paper there is a lot in it with Poole having a big advantage in terms of combined team averages.

If Howarth can get back to his early season form and King continues his recent purple patch then the first leg should be close. However at Poole there will only be one winner and that's the Pirates!

Just read the last couple of pages of this thread and I would normally be supporting Cov..

But Fast/Slow Freddie on his better bikes for the PO's just confirms everyone's suspicions that the whole league is a joke..

Poole deserve to win this through sticking with their original 1-7 and winning the league by a country mile.. :t:

Why would you believe that he would be on his better bikes ? as someone has already pointed out he has a Swedish play off match on Tuesday so I doubt he going to take one of them ..the story is just a bit of spin .

Never understood why you deserve anything by sticking with your original 1-7 ...it's common sense unless it's Wolves that your team is more likely to change if your not doing well and not so much if your winning .

Poole only finished 4 points ahead of Coventry so wouldn't call that a country mile.

I don't like having Dak and Kacper at 3 and 4...

No nor do i ,Watt should be at 4.

The play offs are fantastic, i love them, best thing to happen to speedway in recent memory and the team that wins the title fully deserves to be crowned champions
