topaz325
So for the Comets last meeting of the season it sees them take on the Dukes of Edinburgh...will it be a case of unbeaten at home all season or going down to the champions elect. Or could be beaten by the weather which does not look good at this stage but things could change. The teams: 1.Wells 2.R/R Rusty Harrison 3.Bach 4.Hansen 5.Howarth 6.Williamson 7. Guest for Wethers. 1.Cook 2.Riss 3.Sedgemen 4.Woelbert 5.Masters 6.Branford 7.Clegg Not sure if this is the correct team order for both teams but should be somewhere near. 42-48...... TheScotsman
Erik Riss (long track) and Max Clegg (under 19 champs) will both be missing for Monarchs.

Comet Dan
Team news - following his impressive showing last week Hynek Stichauer guests in place of Matty Wethers and it's R/R for Rusty. For Edinburgh it's R/R for the Longtracking Erik Riss and local lad Ryan Blacklock is in for Max Clegg who is in the British Under 19s There will also be the rider interviews and final NJL meeting following the main meeting where the Northside Stars can claim the league title with a win

jenga
just a quick rain update for the travelling hoards of endiburgh fans. its been raining quite a lot and constant. comet dan is ,part of the official , unofficial workington team and has had a visit to the track. he says its dry , apart from 2 puddles on the home straight. meeting should be ok to go as its quite bright and the wee suns trying to get out. no more rain forecast till 2morrow. so should be a goer. everyone welcome. 7pm start. see official or unofficial comets sites for up to date reports. looks good to me..
Comet Dan
Spent the morning at the track, had a heavy shower but not much since, all will be ok as long as there are no further heavy prolonged showers this afternoon. Cookie will fancy a track record tonight, but so will Kenneth and Ricky...
