mikec
I make you right theblueboy about the playoffs, two mouthwatering ties & you can make a decent case for each of the four teams winning the title. The Aces/Robins match is a really tough tie to call. Swindon have been a real handful at Kirky Lane this season in two dramatic matches - if they're anything to go off, the fans at Belle Vue & watching on Sky will be in for a treat. Need to eek out enough of a lead in Manchester in order to put pressure on the Robins in the early heats at Blunsdon - an 8+ point lead would be handy, anything less & I think Rosco & co will fancy their chances in the 2nd leg. The Voice Of Reason
Newsflash **Wolves, Leicester and Lakeside won't be in the play offs** Not quite sure how a 'Newsflash' in September stacks up against what was common knowledge to all in May!
acef
Yes, that is the case, however, the home defeat had Morris and Batchelor both score 4 a piece and the reserves scored 3 from 8 rides. I am glad BV are in the play off. The play offs have a decent look and all the teams will think they can win the final if they have that bit of luck. BV have a good all round team and Worrall, in particular, is a major concern but I have seen enough to be quietly confident over the 2 legs. Weather permitting my first trip to the city of Sy'cog'phants awaits... The two meetings against Swindon have certainly had some drama so it should be a good night. Racing hasn't been the best in those 2 meetings apart from one or two absolutely electrifying races. Two good teams. Can't wait.
orion
Aces can win these play offs . I hope I am wrong but they really have the team to deal with Swindon over two legs and they are the team most likely to worry Poole . Lets hope the weather stays good and we have last have decent semi finals as most semi's over the years tend for some reason to turn into one sided affairs . They ride our track better than we do and have some sort of hold over us. In fact, they're the only team of the 3 to beat us overall in 4 meetings. Whilst I expect Swindon to win it just about overall, you can never say never and BV are certainly the dark horse in these playoffs Edited September 9, 2015 by acef
Poole Quay 7
I hope Poole go to Coventry and simply destroy any hopes the Bees have. They would have not picked us and we normally beat them when it matters apart from 2011! .....Bring it on. Up The Poole Pirates. SUPERACE
I know it's all ifs and buts, but if Zagar had ridden the full meeting and Pk had rode instead of ward the Aces would have won by at least 10 points. I think over 2 legs in the semi and 2 fully fit teams it's very hard to call.
