Mark
Swindon choose to ride the home leg 2nd ? I would always have the home leg first to get a lead. Tactical ride is a bonus in 2nd leg if struggling. Poole have it the right way round. They knoiw what they have to do at Covenrty to close out the tie. GoFastTurnLeft
I'm actually a little surprised we didn't want to go home first vs Cov. Maybe Ford and Middlo decided to get the hard bit done first to know how hard we're going to have to bring it at Wimborne Rd. Swindon will probably hammer BV, but seeing as Poole can't ride BV's track, Cov were the best choice.
TheScotsman
What happens if things are tied at the end of the second leg? Does it not go to the Golden Heats bollocks? If so, must be better to be at home in the second leg.
Mark
Coventry are at home in the 1st leg. My mistake. Read it wrong. shinyhine
Imagine bees are still 2 points in front after heat 10 of the second leg and then a monsoon occurs . If carlsberg made speedway meetings

If carlsberg made speedway meetings I'm sure if that were to happen, Coventry would beg for the meeting to be re-run in accordance with their strenuous arguments on the subject earlier this season. 😜

If we get a 10 point lead to take away then the pressure is on them. We beat them by six a few weeks back with Darcy Ward getting a max and Zagar withdrawing after a crash in his second ride so we are more than capable of a 10 point win at home
John Leslie
What's Oscar Pistorious got to do with it? He hasn't got a home leg or an away leg...
foreverblue
Matt ford always favours the first leg away, if things get tight in the second leg you have most of the crowd behind you, the right decision in my book.

mdmc82
Looking at the line ups, I honestly wouldn't rule Belle Vue out of being a surprise winner of the play offs. They are strong at home & ride Swindon well, stronger at reserve. If they do meet Poole in the final then it could go either way.
SCB
The thing with BV is they have scored 40+ in every away meeting, so if they can put 50 on Swindon they'll be confident of an aggregate win. If I was Poole then BV would have been my biggest worry and is imagine they'd be the team Swindon least wanted.
