foreverblue
Not looking good for Leicester. Going to need two strong heatleaders to complete the team Even worse than Coventry!

weatherwatcher
When the work on the track is being done, the best thing to do is to send DH on a Winter cruis for a month or two. Let Glynne get it sorted out on his own, with a bit of help from a few of the old riders that know how a track should be.
Woz01
Even worse than Coventry! Leicester will be miles worse. Cant see them having a genuine heatleader!

1 valve
Interesting piece in the Leicester Mercury on-line edition concerning track alterations. Changes are being made to the bends & the new shape is being marked out by Glyn Taylor in readiness for the infield to be cut this week before the foundations & new shale are laid. Glyn says he hopes it will give riders more manoeuvrability when entering & exiting the bends. DH said it was in response to views of the supporters & hopes to see an increase in support. At least they've got the right man doing the alterations this time, lets hope he's left alone to do his way & we might see some improvement in the standard of racing next season. This is great news and does show that DH listens to the fans, riders etc (eventually) Now we need to trust in Glyn to do the right job. I cant help but think that if the right amount is taken away the resultant depth of the bends are going to provide different lines for riders as the meeting develops. That said I cant see the story on the Mercury site, is there a link somebody can post?

Shirl
Could Leicester Lions do what Leicester City have done? I don't think there are many Thai business tycoons with an interest in BP Maybe the start line girls - if we had any

SteveEvans
Maybe the track work is to add a shortcut to turns 3 and 4 for the Leicester riders only so as to keep things more even!

I hope they don't go about the track changes half arsed like last time.......if it's done correctly which it should be with Glyn doing the changes then fair play to them.
