Grand Central
This is a club that is closed and is trying to return and I am sure they are not awash with cash. I would imagine they have already secured a lot of the potential sponsors, otherwise they wouldn't be moving forward with their attempt for a comeback. And don't tell me.....you are a marketing expert! Personally, I would say a great looking website will be the icing on the cake for IOW! As I recall, they need an airfence, hopefully that has been secured (no pun intended!). I tried a clear and helpful explanation. You don't get it. Fair enough. I hope the guys in Ryde do. Perhaps you could offer your services and experience to the Isle of Wight, on a pro bono basis?

van wolfswinkel
Good Luck to the Islanders, friendly club, enjoyed my visit there a few years ago
25yearfan
I don't particularly care about the website but I think the new nickname and racejacket logo are dreadful! The Islanders was a great nickname and logo cause it was totally original and synonomous with IOW speedway! The original Wizards nickname was nicked from the old Weymouth team of the 1970's and was quickly ditched after a couple of years. The Warriors has been used a few times in the past so isn't appealing whatsoever! As for the logo - well that's painful, very unwarrior like and very uninspiring! That said I hope speedway returns to one of its more unlikely locations and that its a success but I can't help but think the new nickname and logo design are not a step in the right direction! iris123
Guess it is done on a shoestring.Like some of the press releases by foreign clubs or even the FIM.They have obviously asked "who can speak English" and someone puts his hand up and does the press releases. In this case they have asked "who can do a website" and the person who put his hand up got the job!!!! Main thing is the speedway is more successful than the website, then no-one will really be complaining
