Ray Stadia
And don't forget that there's a Fans Forum this coming Thursday (Sept 10) in the Premier Lounge at Smallbrook getting underway at 7pm. See you there? I would love to Bryn, but my rubber dinghy is out of action! But I do hope all goes well and best wishes to the relaunch!
yahoho
Thats the revamped site? I must be looking at something different as its pretty painful to look at and half the links dont work... =/
DutchGrasstrack
That's not realy how a website should be designed lol.
oldace
That is a dreadful website. It looks like a schoolkids first effort into web design
waiheke1
Why do all the clubs not have a standardised website and pay a few grand each a year to have someone administer them. That website is truly awful! Certainly can't help attract sponsors.
SCB
I thought it was just me! I agree, it's a terrible site
yahoho
Oh good. I thought I would be starting a flame war against me for saying its awful, but it is. @waihekeaces1 - A lot of clubs do, coventrybees.co peterboroughpanthers.co etc etc etc all have a standard site by a company that manages it. Think its something to do with BSI but I dont know - someone will be able to give proper information.
SCB
Speedway has always been bad with the Internet. I believe it's part of Go Speed that AP Media do most sites now. They're safe, solid sites that's don't push any limits but the work and are functional so you can't really fault them. The GP site is very boring for what it is. Again, safe and solid but the GPs imo should have something a bit more extreme and exciting. I'm sure someone at Monster could do something! John Leslie
Oh dear. That's a shocker. Thought IOW had big money foreign backers? It's horrendous
Ray Stadia
Take no notice Bryn, IOW are not even up and running yet, but at least the website is a start. Looked ok to me, but then this forum is full of website experts that know better! Best wishes to Isle of Wight Speedway.

Ray Stadia
You don't need to be a Michelin starred chef to know when something tastes horrible True, but then a professional looking speedway website, does not mean there is a professionally run speedway team.
Countershaftcounter
I looked the other day and thought jeeez it's bad, With all the fanfare on twitter etc I was expecting something better than the usual clubs site but this is much much worse
Grand Central
True, but then a professional looking speedway website, does not mean there is a professionally run speedway team. Totally irrelevant. This one is embarrassingly amateurish. It does give a dreadful impression, and I am sure that was not the intention. Offering poor advice wrapped up with good wishes is terribly unhelpful. They need to know just what a mistake they are making before they blight their own position You only get one chance to make a good first impression. This is a club that is closed and is trying to return and I am sure they are not awash with cash. I would imagine they have already secured a lot of the potential sponsors, otherwise they wouldn't be moving forward with their attempt for a comeback. And don't tell me.....you are a marketing expert! Personally, I would say a great looking website will be the icing on the cake for IOW! As I recall, they need an airfence, hopefully that has been secured (no pun intended!).
