kitten2502
Unless Mildenhall can be persuaded to rearrange Sundays meeting or put back the start time to enable me to attend can anyone confirm if late admittance is allowed at the stadium? I am due to collect a friend from Birmingham airport - flight due 13:25 I would hate to miss our potential crowning as league champions. Failing that anyone with car space for the trip? (friend can get a taxi home from airport!)
Blackbird
I'd imagine if you around the back to the pits entrance you'd probably be able to gain access that way if the main turnstiles are shut due to being late..?

kitten2502
Will be there to cheer the lads on from the start now - lift sorted! Got everything crossed that we can at least manage the draw needed to claim the title, but we need the lower order to chip in with a few points. Pob
What's the weather like there. Paying a little visit to West row today . Dropping mother off at stanstead airport so closer to mildenhall than ipswich so would be rude not to pop along and catch the meeting today . arnieg
I'd imagine if you around the back to the pits entrance you'd probably be able to gain access that way if the main turnstiles are shut due to being late..?I can vouch for this. Due to traffic hold ups my 2 1/2 hour journey took FOUR hours and I arrived to find myself locked out. Having got in through the pits I found I had missed five races and programmes were sold out. Shame tape malfunction couldn't have been earlier.  To say I am pissed off is an understatement.  PS Not having much luck with Mildenhall, my previous visit was a 5 hour round trip for a rain - off.  PPS Anyone got a spare programme Edited September 6, 2015 by arnieg

Brummie Kev
What a fantasttic achievement!!, this time last year we had no club to support and it was terrible not going to speedway and not knowing whether we would return. So to not only return but to put togethor a a good team from scratch ( no assets) and to win the National League a year later is just amazing  I would like to thank Graham Drury as team manager but we must not forget the role Phil Morris played in the winter. It showed just how much this club meant to him given he was prepared to help the way he did. The riders delievered when it counted and sure there were some that havent had the season they wanted on a personal level but they played their part. When they go out on the track with the B on their chest, they earn my respect and they tried their best.  Adam Ellis and skipper Tom Perry have been top class this season but I want to mention Zach. He started the season on a 3.00 average, had not ridden in a single NL match and look at him now. to be honest if he dont get rider of year in the NL I will be amazed. A great talent  Thanks to the riders, fans of the other National League clubs, Ive enjoyed watching this level of racing. These young kids starting out give their all and they are a credit to the sport.  Lastly theres one man that deserves thanks the most, he is Tony Mole. He came back and rescused us from the brink and I will forever be grateful. The man is a absolute legend!

Pob
Impressed with the young lad Zach today . 1st time I've seen him ride . Think there will be a lot of clubs in higher leagues looking to aquire his services for next season. Was my 1st taste of NL speedway and enjoyed my visit to Mildenhall this afternoon. Two teams of young riders giving it a go was a breath of fresh air
