As far as i'm aware the Queen is still the head of the commonwealth so it doesnt matter either way.

Australia like most of the commonwealth have now got their own anthems and most of them are better than the derge we have. Anyway Tai is racing for himself not England, the same as Lewis Hamilton did at the weekend, or maybe they also think the National Anthem is old fashioned, out of date and uses words that they do not believe in. The sooner the anthem is dumped and a replacement is taken up the better.

Why would Woffinden sing England's national anthem? After all he has a huge Australian tattoo on him.....seems pointless being two faced to him i suggest

more idiotic comments....you live in the modern world???? everyone has tattoos representing all different things.

this tai bashing just a cheap shot..having the worlds best when speedway is in the gutter, people like you just like to drag it down even further!......pathetic

I THINK the atmosphere can largely depend on the performance of the home riders, especially in Sweden and Denmark. Cardiff tends to be an exception because British fans have traditionally cheered for just about everyone (maybe not Nicki!) and just a bit louder for the home stars.

This seems to be the case for all GP's these days even in Poland.

what would tai gain from riding in a weak league? a sportsman at top of his game need top opponents, its easy to stagnate against lesser opposition. he put it on the line with his superb 21pt max in the world cup (I take you didn't approve)?..you not happy hes leading the world title? you not happy he will be in the running for the FIM awards? you not happy hes getting coverage in larger newspapers?

if he comes back to Wolverhampton would you stop slagging him off?

What difference will it make for British speedway as he has stuck two fingers up to racing here.

If he rode here I wouldn't have a problem because British speedway needs him and he knows that.

Care to have a go at Gareth Bale for playing for Real Madrid and not Cardiff?

Niamh

LOL that just Shows your stupidity, different sports, bale can only play for one team and there are no big teams in Wales anyway, tai can race in different countries for different teams,he just doesn't want to ride in front of his home fans in the uk.

TBF, there was a time when British players started heading off to Italy (and other European clubs) that the UK press and fans got a bit upset about it.

As for Woffy riding in the UK, I doubt it'd make a blind bit of difference as the man on the street doesn't gave a bloody clue who he is!
