FAST GATER
In retrospect, taking an unknown Pole on at an average of 7.5, with Monmore Green as a home track was a real gamble and one that backfired. He looked very good at Kirky Lane though, which makes his performances at Monmore all the more surprising. The fall and fall of Super Slow Freedie couldn't have been predicted either. Very true Freddie has not pulled any trees up this season but look at Holder a different rider in the GP's yet very average in the league as was Tai last year just don't understand why . Beowulf
Anyway apparently our worries are over Peter Adams has a good idea what the team will be in 2016 it was on local radio. Team changes this season should have been made we let Tobiasz go from a 7.5 rider to 4.6 after his 12 meetings. Any other teams would have changed him before and brought another rider in. To get 10 points from May to September is an absolute disgrace and teams came to Monmore knowing they would get something out of the meeting. Stats don't lie we deserve to finish bottom a lot of fans are getting frustrated and have said if it's the same old next season they won't come. Very frustrating for all Wolves fans. It was actually 6.50 for Tobiasz, but it was still a hell of a gamble on that figure, which didn't come off.

stevebrum
Steve just admit your team are worse than Leicester. LOL Maybe Adams should of walked out on wolves when golden boy tai left. Both finished on 28 points and Leicester have a 4 point difference swing. Equal, not better. Both are tripe. But feel free to see something that isn't there. ouch
FFS. So if this 4 point swing happened in the old days before the play offs with Wolves and the Lions at the top they would share the winners trophy as according to you both are equal???? Talk about seeing something that isn't there. Incredible.

But if some would like to celebrate 2nd from bottom then crack on.
ouch
OK, I think I get it now. A 4 points swing counts at the top of the league to determine placings but not at the bottom where teams remain equal. Â Jesus Christ!!
stevebrum
OK, I think I get it now. A 4 points swing counts at the top of the league to determine placings but not at the bottom where teams remain equal. Jesus Christ!! It's a clear struggle for you isn't it. In the table Leicester are 6th and Wolves are 7th. Neither have any credit for their seasons. The reverse example you suggested would determine 1st and 2nd with the winners getting all the glory whilst for 2nd it would be so near but so far but sounds like a good season to me. I guess I will have to try again In a more simplistic form next time.
ouch
You said they are four points in front so that makes you equal. If someone was four inches taller than you would you say they are the same size? We are not talking about the general feeling as to how the season had gone we are talking points on the board. Â YOU ARE NOT EQUAL! Â You keep posting wrong things and instead of holding your hands up you just keep on making yourself look a dick. BWitcher
Reading some of the comments in this thread suggests some people don't understand the very simple concept of a league and how it works when deciding relative merits of contestants both before and after all the fixtures are completed. Â There are at least two explanations, one is that they are thick (on this occasion that isn't a euphemism for bigoted moron), another is that the pokc has meant that they have forgotten what is the true and fair test of judging one contestant against the others. Â While not the most damaging issue the pokc has caused it is still a negative feature and therefore becomes number 15 on the long list of things the pokc sycophants are too thick to realise that the pokc actually does more harm than good. Â The playoffs subject us, year after year, to endless repetitive 'pokc sycophant' posts from Drop a Cog so you can add that and make it number 16 on your list of reasons the 'pokc' does more harm than good.

oldace
Can't argue with that, lol! Â While it's fair to say the application of the word is perhaps a little bit too creative for someone with no imagination to appreciate, nobody is in any doubt about the personality trait it is describing. Â Â Even less are in any doubt about the personality trait of the person doing the describing
John Leslie
While it's fair to say the application of the word is perhaps a little bit too creative for someone with no imagination to appreciate, nobody is in any doubt about the personality trait it is describing. Gibberish again.....Showing you don't know what the word means. Â Why didn't you just look it up in a free online dictionary rather than make yourself look daft? Â I'll help you. A Sycophant is a person who creeps to/sucks up to/flatters a person in power in the hope of getting a reward or favour from them. Â Now you see you're misusing the word to describe an up-to-date person who is in favour of the Elite League's Play-off system. But you see they aren't creeping to the ELPO system....the ELPO system isn't a person, it's just a system of finding a winner of a sporting contest. It can't be sucked up to, It has no favours or rewards to give. It doesn't give free admission to anyone who agrees with it. Â Now see how you're getting it all hopelessly wrong? Â The word you're looking for is a word to describe a person with their own opinions who doesn't happen to agree with your out-dated ludditesque views. Â Now off you toddle to an online dictionary and see if you can find one. Â Â p.s. You remind me of someone. You don't happen to create "truly innovative" racecards do you? John Leslie
I don't know where you found your definition of sycophant but it might be worthwhile looking up the definition of hypocrite next, lol! Another word you don't understand? Â To be honest you'd be better doing your homework yourself. It's the only way you'll learn.
John Leslie
You really should use that dictionary you found more often. Â Anyway, back to that definition you posted, you've even managed to get a working example of the literal meaning to illustrate it, good work ha ha! More gibberish... ouch
I've just looked at the table and the race points difference between Wolves and Leicester is 29 not 4 so stevebrum couldn't even get that right. YOU ARE NOT EQUAL! You keep posting wrong things and instead of holding your hands up you just keep on making yourself look a dick. Â You don't read things right at all. I made it clear it was the points difference swing but as expected you don't read the post properly. Â Â I've just looked at the table and the race points difference between Wolves and Leicester is 29 not 4 so stevebrum couldn't even get that right. I beginning to feel like a sucker having been taken in by him. You live a learn. So having finally used a little bit of brain power and realised the mistake you made you checked the stats. Both teams finished on 28 points. Leicester scored 4 more points at home. Wolves scored 25 more points away. Â In your world a huge difference. In the real world less than a hair splits them. The table shows Leicester above Wolves, but please don't argue that they were a much better side than us because you have nothing to back up those claims. If anything we scored more away points than them yet there was only 4 points separating our home tally (the important one).
