ShropWolf
League tables don't lie we had 18 points in May and our only away win was in April. No fight in the team absolutely pathetic. Very frustrating being a Wolves fan this season. Do the management and riders care? I don't think so. Tobiasz hasn't got a clue at Monmore only scored above 5 at home twice. 37 points in total. Good clear out needed and a new team manager. Well done aces and lions you didn't have to try very hard. 😀😀😀 yes we are a laughing stock.

Tommy Sweetman
What is wrong with Pete Adams ???? What is wrong with Pete Adams  More to the point what is right with Pete Adams.  As team manager the buck stops with him.He must have had the major say in how this side was put together at the start of the season. Virtually every neutral on this forum at the start of the season picked Wolves to be in the bottom two(and how right they were).  Some of his tactical decisions in the last two seasons have been shambolic, and his influence in the pits seemed to have be non-existent.  Wether being in Tai,s corner at the GP,s has had a detrimental effect to whats happened at Monmore, one can only speculate, but i dont think it has helped.  Of course CVS has to shoulder part of the blame, after all,it is he who pulls most of the purse strings.  One things for sure, another season like this, and theres only gonna be one outcome.Last one out turn off the lights.
stevethelion
Two away wins in the last four meetings, Adam scored 9+1, 9+2. Â Just saying Can't understand why the Lions didn't ask him to guest more than twice, especially given his performance's at BP this season for Lakeside & guesting for KL. BluPanther
I can understand your frustration TS but i think in all fairness to Adams, he can only work with what hes got! One would presume Mr Adams would have had some input in choosing the team, so the riders he works with are his choice..

FAST GATER
Think it is a little harsh to blame Adams for everything that has happened this year , I found the meetings I attended entertaining and with some good racing which is what I go to speedway for .I understand that many are upset at being bottom of the league never mind not being in the play offs but accept for a couple of extra meetings and the chance of winning the league( which is worth nothing in monetary terms as I understand it except paying star riders huge sums to win it or not ) what else has been lost in reality .Wolves are secure as far as am aware including a three year lease which is more than can be said for many teams and in this day and age that is priceless .IMO the visiting teams last night were full of track specialists and I am still convinced that the format is harmful and has made teams look worse than they are ,imagine facing Ivan Mauger or Ole Olsen 3 or 4 times a meeting and that's what is happening now. stevebrum
I understand that many are upset at being bottom of the league never mind not being in the play offs We are not, and haven't at any time been bottom of the league. There is a slim chance we might if Lakeside get anything at Coventry this week.

As I have said several times - it's not how you start it's how you finish and if you finish bottom you will have been the worst EL team this season
stevebrum
As I have said several times - it's not how you start it's how you finish and if you finish bottom you will have been the worst EL team this season Besides up to 2 weeks ago Leicester had it in the bag. As far as im concerned Leicester, Wolves and Lakeside have been dire the vast majority of the season, none of those clubs can come out with any credit this season. R87
Regardless of if we finished bottom or not,it's been an abysmal season at the Green which has been reflected in the crowds as the seasons gone. I've been inside Monmore Green when the atmosphere has been raucous (not just for Cradley and Coventry matches either), yet the atmosphere now is so tame and resigned towards losing. Â Wolves glory days of the 1990s are a dimm and distant memory and even 2009 seems a long long time ago now. Since 2011, we have been in the Lower half of the admittedly shrinking EL apart from 2013. There's a losing mentality at the club, and the longer it takes for the promotion to see this, the worse it will get. Â To have as poor a season as we've had and not make one single change defies belief.
orion
Could never be a Wolves speedway fan in there present state . Poor sides put out and then no changes even when they are doing poorly and things just being allowed to drift along . Adams has done well over the years but the place has just gone stale and it needs a change and some new life .
ShropWolf
Anyway apparently our worries are over Peter Adams has a good idea what the team will be in 2016 it was on local radio. Team changes this season should have been made we let Tobiasz go from a 7.5 rider to 4.6 after his 12 meetings. Any other teams would have changed him before and brought another rider in. To get 10 points from May to September is an absolute disgrace and teams came to Monmore knowing they would get something out of the meeting. Stats don't lie we deserve to finish bottom a lot of fans are getting frustrated and have said if it's the same old next season they won't come. Very frustrating for all Wolves fans. 😠😠😠
stevebrum
Could never be a Wolves speedway fan in there present state . Â Â So are you suggesting all Wolves fans ditch their team then? If Swindon fans had done that they wouldn't have even reached the 00's as they club would have closed under the same criteria.
ShropWolf
I wouldn't support any other team in the Elite League and let's hope this is one of those seasons for the Wolves. At least we see some good racing not like some tracks where you see more passing on the roads outside the stadiums.just glad we can put this season to bed. 😀😀😀

In retrospect, taking an unknown Pole on at an average of 7.5, with Monmore Green as a home track was a real gamble and one that backfired. He looked very good at Kirky Lane though, which makes his performances at Monmore all the more surprising. The fall and fall of Super Slow Freedie couldn't have been predicted either.
