van wolfswinkel
I just don't understand this situation so perhaps a Swindon fan could explain. It's not as if they are building a new stadium in a different area so why can't they just leave the present track where it is and upgrade anything that needs doing ~ back straight bogs for example, although I've never had the pleasure of using them ~ and build the houses where they plan to put the new track? WE like them as they are, they should be a listed building, and not demolished to make way for housing. It's a shame you have never had the pleasure of using them. I will miss the blood-curdling cries of people that have used them. At least Swindon fans wont have to bring their owns seats next year.
Bee 26
Great tactical skills leaving Jorgensens RR until heat 13!

kenny bee firefly
Great tactical skills leaving Jorgensens RR until heat 13! The only swindon rider he beat was rose !! Think it was the correct decision to sacrifice him in 13 against two heat leaders !
Bee 26
Hmmmm, fluffed it in heat 15 when on a 5-
SCB
Jorgensen, Fricke and r/r scored 3,4 and 5 (and one of Frickes was an r/r - Howarth, King and a half decent replacement for Joonas should be capable of doubling the 11 scored tonight. Â Obviously Swindon will be looking at Morris doubling, even trebling his score though. Â I stand by what I said a few days ago, literally any one of 4 teams could win the title right now. The only swindon rider he beat was rose !! Think it was the correct decision to sacrifice him in 13 against two heat leaders !The issue was the cherry picking! And Fricke showing tonight he's not a heatleader as some of us said a couple of days ago - weirdly though I thought he'd be better choice tonight than last night! He actually rode really well. Gave Kildemand a great race and also led Morris and Zengi. Just struggled with his exit to bend 4 a bit. He was superb from the tapes.
mdmc82
Good night for our missing riders. Howarth scored 11+2, King scored a paid max in the PL (Shame we agreed to a evening when we had riders missing)
krompa
Garrity's form is a worry. Fine other than that. With him on song much more tactical opportunities for Havy. Heat 13 (instead of Jorgensen) as an example.

Heat 13 (instead of Jorgensen) as an example. He is just returning from injury. However if we can get close with Garrity having a off night & minus 3 riders then it's encouraging
thecoombdog
Not a bad meeting that. Summers missed the gate in all his races and still scored well. Killer nutty as normal. Bomber and Hans looked good. Don't think the bonus point dropped will make a difference to Cov. They will still finish 2nd. Going to be close if we meet in the play offs. SCB is right. So hard to call now.

krompa
Poole should pick Swindon IMO. Easy enough track for Gomolski. Potentially weakest reserve than Coventry and Belle Vue.

He was miles better than his score suggests.

mdmc82
Spot on ..his scores does not show how well he rode. Thou Swindon won tonight they were really poor . I think Ward not only helped them on track but also played a big part off track. Swindon struggled with Ward on their last visit to Poole. Will the result when Swindon visit Poole on Monday may play its part in who Poole pick? Do they already have a team in mind? Could be interesting. Adder
Havvy messed up by leaving Sarge in Heat 9. We assumed Garrity would have been brought in so were well pleased when the change wasn't made!
Chalkie
Question-why do we always have to have that plank Watters refereeing Swindon v Coventry matches, he always tries to spoil them with his "I'm bigger than the riders attitude." Thankfully, his attempts to scupper Swindon's chances went pop in the end but I would be very grateful if he never refereed another match at the Abbey, old or new!
