mdmc82
Any news if Zagar will be fit for Monday? Coventry aren't racing so imagine they might have our captain on standby 😉

lionheart
Sorry to be negative but I cannot see BV getting anything from this meeting.
Lefty
Could the start time be brought forward to 7:00pm? Then it might be over by 11:00pm. Â Also I would have expected Leicester to be the first match as they were the original fixture.
tocha
Sorry to be negative but I cannot see BV getting anything from this meeting. How so? Last time Belle Vue went down 41 -49. Since then Cook and Fricke have upped their scoring and, although, Nicholls has slipped down to a second-string, this is a track he likes. Also, no Blackbird now and, being 8th on the EDR list, only the also-rans are available to guest

arnieg
The question is will the away fans pay the extra for the one meeting they want to watch while the home fans effectively enjoy a discount for two meetings featuring their team, could be a lose lose in more ways than one for Wolves. And the answer was a resounding yes. There was a huge contingent of Aces fans and a healthy Leicester presence, and I think it is fair to say both groups thought they got value for money. Â Not sure the Wolves fans felt the same after their team's dismal performance.
stevebrum
So it was a lose lose for Wolves. Who'd have thought it? Oh I did, lol! Don't forget to slate the PLAY OFFS now you are in them won't you. Â
iand
Will Zagar be fit for the play offs? Limited choice for a replacement , of the remaining number 1's only Lindgren and Jonsson fit.
stevebrum
If nobody else brings up one of the 14+ things on the list of things the pokc sycophants are too thick to realise that the pokc actually does more harm than good, then neither will I, but when they do I'll be more than happy to point out what number on the list it is. That's how it works, while I obviously don't care what you think, you bring nothing worthwhile to this forum, I wouldn't want to be accused of making up anything on the list of things the pokc sycophants are too thick to realise that the pokc actually does more harm than good, I don't need to, lol! Who invented copy and paste by the way? Gets my vote! Long live the play offs, the saviour of British Speedway. Still waiting for any valid point, long long wait.
ouch
If you're describing British speedway in its present state as being the recipient of some great saviour then you genuinely have lost the plot.

The play offs save many clubs seasons, ask the promotions.
ouch
You used the term British Speedway as a whole and didn't imply you were cherry picking certain clubs. Still, if promotors see that some fans think the sport had been saved then they will carry on as per.
stevebrum
You used the term British Speedway as a whole and didn't imply you were cherry picking certain clubs. Still, if promotors see that some fans think the sport had been saved then they will carry on as per. They ARE carrying on as per that's the problem! The play offs bring crowds flocking and help to balance the books of those in them. I never claimed they were the only thing that is good about speedway. Plenty is wrong with our sport and the promoters continue to gloss over the cracks. Play offs give speedway something to celebrate and make happen. Plenty hate them but we would be in a much worse place if we didn't have them.
