bolly
Gutted for the Rye House pair, one missed start all night and it had to be in the knockout semi-final of the meeting. Looked head and shoulders the best team up until that point and again in the 3rd/4th run off. But at least if we couldn't win it. It was good to see Ben in the winning pair.
cityrebel
24 heats in 2 and a half hours, good quality presentation and some entertaining racing. The meeting was a credit to the NL and to King's Lynn Speedway. i totally agree with you, it's just a shame that more people weren't there to see it.
junior fan
Looking at updates some good rides by Zack W . quick times and 3 wins. Surely has to be the best new rider in the NL this year . Junior
Halifaxtiger
i totally agree with you, it's just a shame that more people weren't there to see it. I thought the attendance was disappointing too given that all 10 teams were represented and most had their top riders out and dry weather was pretty much guaranteed.
teddy2706
If league meetings were run in this format there would be an outcry every day of the week. It makes no sense at all, why this format was ever formulated is a complete mystery to me, it is plain daft. I am not a Rye House supporter, far from it, but, whilst taking nothing away from Morley and Ayres who won it fairly under the rules, the moral winners were clearly Branford and Hughes. Robert and Kyle team rode throughout the meeting, were a head and shoulders above everyone else, yet come third. Unjust, unfair, unjustifiable. However, no injuries, no ambulance, no delays, kind weather, so that was a result in itself. However, given that we were watching the best NL riders in England (and Australia and New Zealand) the attendance was absolutely pitiful and almost every team's supporters should be ashamed of themselves for not being there to cheer on their riders. cityrebel
I must say, although king's Lynn is not my favourite venue, buster produced a superb race track last night. All of the riders looked perfectly at ease on it, inside and out. Well done to that man!
Mimmo
i totally agree with you, it's just a shame that more people weren't there to see it. I agree with what both you and Halifaxtiger said. It was a superb night of racing, and it just beggars belief why there won't more people in attendance, I certainly thought Mildenhall would bring more supporters along (unless of course they were dressed in Birmingham clothing). It obviously didn't help with Peterborough running a meeting 30-minutes down the road, and the cold weather might not of helped, plus the football on TV. I know of five people that didn't attend purely because there was no concessionary rate of admission, but that was only five people. Crowds are dropping at an alarming rate, and unless a magic wand can be waved, I don't know how its going to sort itself out. It's such a shame when you see such a marvellous product as we did last night, unlike the follow the leader scenario of the Elite League.
TMW
Big well done to Kent, fair to say Rob was fairly gutted but like i keep saying thats speedway all over, atleast he got that go kart trophy he could never win.lol. Chopper I think the whole stadium was gutted for them. They hadn't put a foot wrong and flying through the qualifiers.

Have to admit the lack of concession entry price made me think twice but to be honest the main reason was the cold. Lynn is never warm at the best of times but yesterday was bbbbrrrrrr! Nothing to be done about that I guess sadly
Falcon Hammer
Great meeting, also disappointed with the crowd Thought the new Raiders team manager was excellent last night. Felt sorry for The Raiders, but great to see the Kings lift their first trophy, especially the legend that is Danny Ayres
Rickyb
I was told that there was no concessions as the event was shared with BSPA and they set the prices but the PLRC had concessions and so did just about every other meeting this year. Halifaxtiger
Have to admit the lack of concession entry price made me think twice but to be honest the main reason was the cold. Lynn is never warm at the best of times but yesterday was bbbbrrrrrr! Nothing to be done about that I guess sadly I thought £15 for 23 races and most of the league's top riders competing would be good value even if there was no concession price. It did turn a bit cold near the end, glad I was wearing a jumper and a fleece.
