Premier League Fours?

I wonder if Berwick would have taken it?

Were Berwick asked, I would like to think if they had they been they would've accepted the invitation, especially as they have hosted big events in the past. You would think stadium availability wouldn't have been a problem.

No thought given to the fans who attended the original staging at Pboro then ?

Must have missed it when BSPA gave thought to the fans.

What a bl**dy stupid day to pick, I'm sure if it had been a Saturday as originally stated there would have been a decent support from all teams involved, now it's just gonna be predominantly Redcar and Newcastle fans in attendance.

What planet do the BSPA live on?

I wouldn't bet on that.

Of course Berwick would have taken it. It seems to be a strange decision, as if Leicester was earmarked for a Saturday staging by the BSPA, but couldn't do it for whatever reason, then a switch to Berwick would have been logical.

Certainly there would be a better turnout at Berwick on a Saturday than Redcar on a Thursday night.

It could have been held on the Redcar alternative night - Friday, which would have been a tad better.

Neither Edinburgh nor Somerset would be available on a Friday so that wouldn't work?

(Interestingly they face each other at Armadale the night after the fours in the KO cup final, with the first leg at the OTA on the Tuesday I think it is?)

So are the fans that went to Peterborough gonna have to pay another 20 quid or will they get a discount?

Looks like yes and no in that order, but I would hope it isn't £20 for just 16 heats.

sheffield is the best option. no home riders etc. nice and central. good stadium.

Apparently it was considered but your current H&S in the pits prevents it.

It's a very strange one this. The Monarchs website said that they struggled to get a track and rider availability so reading between the lines this is plan z.

Doesn't make any sense as there are no PL or EL fixtures on any Saturday planned. Might get Plymouth vs somerset if the devils get through on 10th October surely they could have found a track.

Going to be a busy week for cookie, Paul starker and josh grajczonek
