Positive Thinker
And yes, I have sent a lot of thoughts and ideas to the e-mail address for the club. Up to them if they decide if they are good ideas and want to put them into practice. I have sent three ideas over the past two seasons. By e-mail as requested. Each time I received a prompt, considered reply, explaining why two of my suggestions wouldn't be practicable, which was fair enough. The other one was adopted and continues today. People, don't girn on here if you want things changed for the better. Ask, tell, demand direct to the promotion. Speak to them on a Saturday or send in an e-mail. As I found out, they always respond. bigeddiechek
I think the music at Berwick is fine. The current charts are very bland and formulaic, and good music is timeless. My 6 year old loves ABBA and the Beatles, and some new stuff as well. AC/DC at Berwick? I don't think many people will disagree on that being a decent choice (it's the only one I ever notice!). allthegearbutnaeidea
Maybe if the speakers were better then people would notice the music more

Most of the current music is just bland tripe, so I am quite happy with the older music, old fart maybe. AC/DC on a Saturday night is fine with me. To The Point
With both of you on this. New PA system very expensive and - I guess - comes under Berwick Ranger remit. Alan Gladstone installed PA system for Berwick Bandits, or at least extended it.
sparkafag
You seem to be reading something into my post that just isn't there, my post isn't directed at one promotion in particular but promotions in general. At what promotions is this aimed? It's an absurdly lazy comment, almost throw away unless backed up with any kind of substance Edited September 1, 2015 by sparkafag
Positive Thinker
Alan Gladstone installed PA system for Berwick Bandits, or at least extended it. Maybe he could have a listen, and report to the football club if things need upgraded?
To The Point
Maybe he could have a listen, and report to the football club if things need upgraded? Alan no longer lives in Berwick, but I think the PA system belongs to speedway, so it is there the responsibility lies.

Normski
That's what you pay rent for ? On th 3rd bend you can normally hear times ok but to hear any other announcements as was with Ben's on Saturday you need to stand under the speaker.

workyboy
Was it `cos he had his speedway brain in gear, thinking about who he could have a mishap with? Thoroughly nice guy when you talk to him in normal circumstances, put him on a bike, different chap.
crescent girl
Alan no longer lives in Berwick, but I think the PA system belongs to speedway, so it is there the responsibility lies. Think again, the speakers are football property. Speedway has an excellent amplifier, but has to feed into the stadium's speakers. If a speaker goes out, speedway has to ask football to get it fixed. Not supposed to touch them.
bigeddiechek
I don't know why you bothered replying. It was a Taffy post, so in all probability a pile of mince: which, of course, turned out to be the case.
allthegearbutnaeidea
But surely if Alan fitted them for the Speedway as he had nothing to do with the football then the Speedway would be able to fix them...
