passing nicki in the semi gave him a gate position option!

Correct Colin & if, Joe, you think Tai passed Nicki to help Greg, you're deluded. Nicki was nowhere near as quick as Greg & passing Nicki was an easier task than catching & passing Greg.

Regarding Harris, it doesn't matter if he has reached a plateau, shot his bolt, never wins a GP again etc, etc. The fact is, he has done what a lot of other riders couldn't do & qualified, fair & square for next year's GP. Whether he has a chance of winning the tile or not is irrelevant. He has the right, just as much as Tai, Greg & Nicki to attempt to qualify & the fact is, whether you like it or not, he has done just that & as such deserves his place. The reality is, every rider in the series wants to be world champion, but only 3 or 4 of them start the season with a realistic chance. Therefore, based on your logic, let's just have a series with 4 riders, because the world champion will probably come from one of them.

Think you are looking for an invisible conspiracy theory - you do both great riders a massive disservice. Before last night's GP, Tai was 20+ points ahead & in terms of the complete package he is a street ahead of everyone. As such he is riding a percentage game & has earned the right do that by being by some distance the best rider around. He didn't need to catch Greg & rightly settled for what he had with minimum risk. As for Greg, obviously his career shows he needs points handed to him on a plate - his 3 world titles demonstrate that. It could just have been that in the last few weeks he has got it all dialled in & last night it came together. Get over yourself.

The difference is, Harris qualified fair & square, something that, as yet, Kildemand has been unable to do. If Kildemand, or any other rider you care to name, could have beaten Harris in Rybnik, then they would deserve a place. As it is, only Zmarzlik & Pawlicki managed it & guess what - they earned their place in next years series, just as Bomber has. Change the record.

It has never been any different. The best riders in their day win by a large margin many, many times. Someone said Ivan never did - rubbish. I cut my speedway teeth at Exeter in the 70's & saw Ivan strut his stuff for 4 seasons & many was the time he was half a lap in front after 4 laps. The same can be said of all the great riders, eras old & new.

In any case, all the bikes are rocket ships these days, but it just so happens that some riders know exactly how to get the best from them. I too, would love to see Tai as world champ & for one, am perfectly happy the way he is doing it - please keep missing the gate Tai!!!

"change the record" just read my post again!!...I clearly said he earned his spot, and my OPINION, is, his spot is a waste, as in my OPINION, hes not capable of reaching a higher level...my OPINION, maybe he can prove me wrong.........but I doubt it

If we followed your opinion, sport would be pointless.

Just give the trophies/championships to those who you think are the best and done with it.

Please tell me your experience setting bikes up and racing them and possibly I may take notice of your stupid reply, oops I forgot you haven't done either so you talk crap as you have no knowledge.

I think it also suited tai coming second to his monster mate, monster riders now 1 & 2 in the world equals more money for both riders.

As it happens buddy i was watching the gp saturday night with an ex mechanic of Mark Lorams who to put it mildly knows more about equipments and engines than you could even dream of.

He told me lots of things regarding engines because we was discussing Tai's speed and Gregs as well. Quite simply the best riders, the most loyal riders are the ones wjho get the time and dedication by their tuners.

He actually cited Paul Hurry who back in the day would flip from tuner to tuner including Peter Johns and then moan that he never recieved the best stuff. Well if your not loyal you wont. Chris Harris is a prime example today. Is he going to get the best Gerhard engines when he changes his mind meeting to meeting?

Tai knows what he wants from his engines, he also only uses Peter Johns, might explain why Johns builds Tai these better engines as he knows his client is solely using his stuff. Why would he spend time with another rider who may or may not use his equipment?

Instead of trying to find a way to continue keep slagging off Tai is rather boring pal. You do it on every thread.

Tai is fast because he has good engines.................oh and he does have some serious ability.......................back the brits

People do get hung up on engines/tuners. Speedway bikes spend a lot of time with the back wheel skidding and therefore it's not all about power. It takes a skilled rider and mechanic to ensure the bike is set up well for the track and delivering the right grip/slip combination to be as fast as possible. Things like gearing, ignition and jetting make a huge difference and Tai/Greg seem to have this sorted.

Your post is just hearsay as you clearly don't know what your talking about through experience lol

I raced against mark a number times,so I guess that puts me above a mechanic ? Oops I was a mechanic for 2 world champions also but I as you clearly say know nothing.

Not doubting Tai has huge ability and is on a high wave of confidence but I just question his massive difference of power compared to other experienced world class riders.

So Gavan I was right you have NO experience but you feel you know more than those who have experience lol

Surely a 'mechanic' for 2 world champions would realise that 'power' is not the be all and end all and that in fact, the overall setup of the bike is FAR more important.

After all, if you had paid attention, you would have noticed that Tai wasn't all that fast in his first couple of rides and stated his setup wasn't right yet.

well then you surely must know about set ups then!! Do you not realsie that on some tracks you need to kill the power otherwise you simply just rodeo around.

For someone that says he was a mechanic you seem to have a very limited knowledge of why bikes go fast.

Try watching the meeting and quite clearly you can see Tai does not have the right set up until his third race. So for you to say there must be something going on with his engines makes me wonder why 2 world champions employed you??

your hate campaign against Woffinden just keeps going on plus the fact you are regularly singled out on other threads as nothing more than an irritant kind of show what sort of person you are.

When did you race against Loram? because as an ex rider and mechanic you have limited knowledge

Intrigued to know how you raced against Mark

He didn't say Mark Loram the speedway rider, he had a school friend of that name and they were both in the egg and spoon race.

That's as credible as anything either of you have posted :)

Before ranting try reading :P . I didn't call you a liar, I said my post was as credible as either yours or Robert which in the absence of any proof it is.

Now I am not disputing the facts in your quoted post BUT and it's a big but, you haven't provided any proof. I don't want any by the way cos I couldn't give 2 monkeys who either of you spannered for. I was merely trying to inject a modicum of humour before yet another thread turned into all out war.

I got on one of my bikes and headed to the start line and then when the tapes went up then mark and I plus 2 others zoomed out of the start and raced, lol

I first rode against mark at hackney. He is a great guy and was an awesome rider when the brits had a good crop of riders.

Yes I know set ups, I just don't get the huge speed difference tai has to others at this level.

this is not anti tai because I would question any other rider with this speed
