Tsunami
Monster sponsored rider with decent lead in world championship beaten by monster sponsored rider who needs points for second place. All in a series sponsored by monster. What a coincidence... Quite correct. Tai letting Grin have the win, with him getting 2 points does everything for Monster, whilst easing Nicki out of second place. It's a plan. customhouseregular
A considered decision not to take an unnecessary risk when 2nd. place was sufficient...yes. Â Blatant race fixing...Ballcocks!.
robert72
A considered decision not to take an unnecessary risk when 2nd. place was sufficient...yes. Â Blatant race fixing...Ballcocks!. Nobody said race fixing, making sure your monster team mate comes second over a non monster rider is good business. Â How many people look after family and friends if they can Except you aren't. Â Or you would be questioning Kildemand and Hancock as well. They don't have the speed tai clearly has which is beyond fast.

robert72
So decloak and reveal who you really are. Â Niamh So decloak and reveal who you really are. Â Niamh so what's your name,DOB and Where do you live ? Â I don't see why I should reveal my full name, what difference does it make ? Tai winning with Greg second achieves the same result though, with Tai still leading the table and Greg going above Nicki. Which is great for team monster racing
Gavan
I dont think it would have mattered to much (with the exception of Nicki) who was in front of Tai as he wasnt going to risk a win when he had a safe second place and quite clearly the guy in front was just as fast. Â What a load of old rubbish the idiots talking bot a fix, what pathetic drivel from the Tai and Hancock haters. Â What if Tai (god forbid) gets injured and loses the series by a point from Hancock? Of course he is going to race for every point! He could have settled for a safe second in the semi but he didnt he went for the win. Â Try watching the final. On a track that had just been watered Tai busted a gut for the first 2 laps but Hancock was smooth and fast out front and Tai no doubt realised it was a to big a risk to go for it but made sure he didnt lose second. Â Sensible riding and i can guarantee you if it was Zagar, Iversen or anyone else in front that fast Tai would have rode the same race

All those claiming it was a 'fix' in the final...  Was Nicki in on it too? After all he was miles behind.. so if Tai was taking it easy to let Greg win, Nicki would have been up close to him...

Gavan
 Before ranting try reading . I didn't call you a liar, I said my post was as credible as either yours or Robert which in the absence of any proof it is.  Now I am not disputing the facts in your quoted post BUT and it's a big but, you haven't provided any proof. I don't want any by the way cos I couldn't give 2 monkeys who either of you spannered for. I was merely trying to inject a modicum of humour before yet another thread turned into all out war. i have never been a mechanic in my life.  we used to go to Hackney from 85 onwards and stand by the pit wall in the main stand. When Mark was a young lad my uncle who ran a coach company, used to give him the odd £50 over the wall. Marks dad, Paul was often with him and my family got chatting to him and then Marks mum used to sit with us along occasionally with Marks sister. We followed Mark from club to club until he went to Exeter and Wolves which was to far for us to travel every week. Mark got a call up to a British Semi Final at Sheffield one yera and he gave my aunty his race jacket. When he won his first British Final he also then gave her his race jacket from that. Sadly My aunty died in Feb 2000 and Mark came to her funeral, so she never saw him become World Champion.  I never spannered for Mark and didnt say i had. Can i prove i know the Loram family? Not really without a link to my facebook lol.  Come on Robert we need to at least know your surname so we can see arent simply looking for effect. Â Of course you don't need to give a surname, but you can share some of your knowledge... give some examples of changes riders can make to their setups.. for example, a rider is spinning up from the starts.. what might they do? I can also tell you when I first started a well known rider had more than a 500cc engine he was using, as too your question adjust the ignition timing or how I got out of the gate well without spinning was a smaller sprocket on the front and in the tool box I had a sprocket conversion guide plus my previous gearing for every track. Dave the Mic
Quite correct. Tai letting Grin have the win, with him getting 2 points does everything for Monster, whilst easing Nicki out of second place. It's a plan. Absolute rubbish. If you think Tai would have risked everything he has built by racing as he did in the semi with Nicki to help Greg, you are deluded. Greg was much quicker than Nicki, Tai could catch Nicki (twice) not Greg (twice). Pearson was extra shouty around Greg and Tai during their races on Saturday night (compared to his more toned down version of recent GPs). And? Â Â You see, I just wanted to clarify you had some, at least, basic knowledge of setups, which you do... so therefore we can cross of 'lack of knowledge' for your questions regarding the 'power' in Tai's engines, and only Tai's.... which leaves us with only one other solution... you don't like Tai. Â Couple that with all the other evidence we have from your past comments and its pretty clear cut. Â One other question, why the immense dislike for Tai? You must have reasons. It's not a big dislike of tai, I think he is a awesome rider but not only me but many are very disappointed he couldn't fit his home country into his schedule as other GP riders have who don't even come from the UK,I feel he let British speedway down, the sport needed him to race here,he puts bums on seats, young fans who are the future of the sport seem to love him, think he was badly advised to turn his back on the UK.  As his bikes, like I said his speed is beyond amazing.
