King's Lynn Vs Leicester 24/8

Even if it's not rained off I expect the lowest crowd of the season for this one - with a good lot of fans saving there cash for Wednesday- though with 3 points up for grabs it's a vital fixture for the Stars

Garrity guesting for Leicester so should liven things up a bit.....

So he's fit again now? Let's hope he gets through the match unscathed being as Coventry have 4 important meetings coming up during the Bank Holiday week.

If Garrity is fit and Milik only half fit, plus r/r for Robert could see a shock defeat for the stars. Hope I'm very wrong and we breeze through. Mind you with tomorrows weather forecast think this is only likely to go one way....

Milik only took 2 rides for Wroclaw today and scored zilch. Still struggling!!

Why is Garrity guesting whilst injured. Surely he should rest up as it was guesting for an other team that made his injury worst last time and then we ended up missing him

Well if Milik don't make it the choice of guests will be very limited.Only really Hans Andersen or Danny King available and King is still smarting from his injuries no doubt.

The weather does look to be the winner here though.

If Garrity is guesting I'll be really pissed off. i know the lad love to race a bike but when he's clearly not fit he should be doing the bare minimum right now - thats 4 rides a meeting for Coventry and Sheffield - it's in both teams interests to only give him 4 rides at the moment as both need him fit for the play-offs.

Do Coventry have a choice whether they let a rider guest or not or does the rider decide what he's going to do?

Should be down to the riders individual contract as to who controls the riders choice of work.

One of the tests of self-employment is the ability to choose your own clients (in this instance riding engagements). If parent clubs are dictating over which guest bookings riders can take it leaves the way open for HMRC to question their self-employment status.

Therefore I think any rider that signs a club contract that prevents him guesting or gives club a veto over guesting would be very unwise.
