Glasgow V Somerset Sunday 23rd August.

Worrall though that is a different matter there really is no place in Speedway in what he did today it is dangerous enough as we saw what happened to Lewis Kerr a couple off weeks ago in a racing incident but for a rider to go out and ride the way he did in Ht 14 today well that i am afraid crossed the line.

some people might hold the same view regarding that incident also,,,

Re heat 7 could have been called either way where i was both clashed going along back straight. Wright took a run back in the ambulance [was not carried in a stretcher ] and came straight out and finished behind his partner overtaking Palovaara. This is for Cyclone as you seem to want a report on heat 7

No point Manse he will make his own assumptions anyway and come to the same outcome the power off updates and the opportunity to berate a Glasgow rider is to big a temptation to pass up.

The Tigeratti on here are going on about Worrall's exclusions from heats 4 & 14,

What about the following regarding heat 7 as per the comment from Live Updates :-

"More carnage . Lawson excluded for putting Charles Wright off on the back straight lap 1. Charles Wright being treated in the ambulance for what looks like a shoulder problem."

Was Lawson's misdemeanor not worthy of mention/condemnation also

Appreciate you're just having a bit of fun here Cyclone, no issues with that at all.

As you weren't there yesterday, to help you understand it was an event filled day, it could even be said a speedway meeting took place somewhere within the 3 hours. Genuinely, there was hardly a heat that ran without incident.

Mr Worrall, through his own actions, got himself onto the front and back pages of the paper.

Bearing in mind he's a Glasgow supporters favourite based on recent performances in guesting for us, the crowd reaction to him in heat 3 tells it's own tale.

The Lawson/Wright incident is inside news compared to many other things yesterday, so that might just be one of the reasons now one's mentioned it.

Anyway, if you're interested here's some pics of it ...

TBF, if them photos are showing heat 3 and the incident that got Worrall excluded and are the incident that are causing Tigers fans to call him dirty, I have to question what they were watching! Summers appears to be the one changing line and seems to clatter into Worrall! if anyone is being dirty there it's Summers.

Ive spent time looking at george.m pics. Something that I see is that worral is at fault, when you proper look why does aaron put his front wheel letf on a straight? Thankfuly no injuries occurred but upto that point its was a fantastic race.

Pretty brutal move by Lawson, from inside kerb to almost out by the fence.

What I'd say to you both is what I posted on Glasgow FB page when asked my opinion of the Summers/Worrall incident ...

"Picture sequences can sometimes be misleading. First picture isn't necessarily the start of the incident. Angles can also mislead"

Show one picture to 10 people and you can get 10 different opinions.

DSC 0446 - It could be said Wright is pointing to go across Lawson. Please note I said "could" as I don't post pictures to make a point.

With Summers / Worrall my recollection is that Worrall looked like he was loosing balance.

But, and it's a big but, if you've ever taking pics you'll know you don't really see the action. You're concentrating on getting the picture right.

BTW - Flickr is a pain in the arse when uploading, pics don't always go in the order you want. Hence go by photo number to see sequences.

Having sat back and read various comments, I may be in the minority but still can't believe Glasgow lost. Nick's crash followed by Richard's exclusion were the key moments. On the bright side we are highly unlikely to get another sunny, warm, windy day this year so the dusty/slick track shouldn't be a problem for forthcoming matches. and just to say the track was absolutely soaked prior to racing so don't think they could have put on anymore .

Agree with your comments re track watering, I've got pics showing water on the track

Im willing to accept that photos, even a sequence are not always perfect but them photos to me make it look a lot more like it's Aarons fault than Worralls - maybe a case of Worralls reputation leading to the views take that day?

No it couldn't - he is aiming directly straight ahead down the straight, whereas Lawson comes from the kurb right out to the fence.

You are correct. Summers did come across Worrall if you look close at Worralls front wheel you will see where Summers footrest went into his spokes.

A few riders have said lately Mr Summers is getting known for his antics. Getting above himself. He went straight into Worralls line

Makes my point about people's interpretations of single/sequential photos perfectly.
