lewy
SCB is it allowed to use a guest for a rider with an assesed average I dont think it is but unsure, might be allowed if your promotor is on the mc Rule 16.5.2.2 if a rider with an assessed MA and is a pl no 1 is missing then a guest cannot be used only the rr facility can be used

Albert
That was no EWR classic..but one or two insane races made it an enjoyable meeting nonetheless. Alex Davies was the standout Scorpion, fantastic performance from him. Andreas Lyager stormed to victory on his first ever race on Scunny shale....he impressed, looks more than a decent prospect. For Berwick, Jorgensen scored well, as one would expect on his 'home' track.... but perhaps rider of the meeting was Ryan Fisher, blistering form tonight, certainly mastered the bend two slingshot! Heat 8 is definitely worthy of a mention... incredible race, how many passes?...I lost count...take a bow messers Pijper, Lunna, Garcia & Hall that was worth the admission money alone.
screm
At least the Berwick travelling fans had something to shout about last night especially after Thursday`s efforts at Ipswich. Berwick still have a fight on their hands to avoid the wooden spoon but a point last night is a welcome one.
Halifaxtiger
Another cracking meeting at EWR with the highlight being an extraordinary heat 8 Lyager looked a lot better than Rob made him out to be at the last meeting........... This meeting, along with the previous night at Redcar, showed how all ages attend speedway meetings. With the Plymouth boys and the Redcar crew on Thursday I felt positively youthful. Last night, with Lightning Fingers, the Doughnut King and the President of the Alex Edberg fan club, it was totally ancient

phillwhitewasmad
Think we saw or heard speaking all of the scunny team for next year at the EWR last night except for one who was away at the under 21s

Islander15
I thought Scunny were packing up? I think they'll switch to Sunday nights, and like Phil said the 6 of the 7 riders were at the track last night, whether riding or not. Halifaxtiger
I thought Scunny were packing up? Rob Godfrey said that he hoped that Thomas Jorgensen would be back at EWR next season................and then slightly too late said 'If we are running'. I suspect they will take their place in the 2016 PL and, providing they get a decent team in - because that is what led to the drop in attendances, 5 out of the first 6 home meetings being defeats - see no reason why they shouldn't do OK. Rob has already said they will switch to early Sunday evening. The thing is Scunny is the best of example in Britain of giving fans what they want- excellent racing, good presentation and no unnecessary delay. phillwhitewasmad
Only problem with my 7 is averages don't fit time for some manipulation me thinks or get Matt ford to change the rules

Exactly and other clubs would do well to take note. It's why I always enjoy my trips to the EWR. Only problem with my 7 is averages don't fit time for some manipulation me thinks or get Matt ford to change the rules Might we see a late season drop in Tommy the Gun's form, then the 7 I was thinking will fit
