Black Angus
Berwick lost 46-44 in May. Is that what you're thinking of? The point gained tonight at Somerset must aid the Witches' hopes, surely? Edited August 18, 2015 by Black Angus
Baldyman
Oh yes we won by 2 on the night, but lost on aggregate
Black Angus
Just got the club's newsletter. Bit of a makeshift team for Bandits, I'm afraid.

crescent girl
These things happen, injuries are part'n'parcel of speedway and always have been. Three good guests, three willing Bandits and good old r/r will see us through!

topsoil
alwaysgot right behind benhe was a gr8 bandit, hope hisback nxt season so who r the banditssinin for ben barker ? Spellcheck. Its the future. alwaysgot right behind benhe was a gr8 bandit, hope hisback nxt season so who r the banditssinin for ben barker ? Thornblom replaced him. Keep up. Technically Berwick couldn't stop Ben Barker leaving, he is a Coventry asset, Berwick replaced him with Thornblom in the 1-7, but from a fans point of view it is difficult to take when a rider leaves and you are still running with r/r (yes, I know it's for a different rider, but if you have the chance to run with 7 riders surely you do it). Don't know how fit Ben will actually be, but I suppose after not earning for a while he will be desperate to be back and he will get more chance to earn at Peterborough with playoff matches etc.
Fromafar
Mushroom syndrome regarding Ben IMO .Why did the article in Newsletter mention he was off.I have no problem with him leaving just the fact he never mentioned it when interviewed on Sat. I'm sure the fans would understand.
penchev
Berwick were keen to have Barker back, but Ben himself wanted a team in the play offs, and with less travelling now to get more meetings and more money given he has been out injured for so long and sadly Berwick have no chance of making the play offs. Pob
Taken from Witches website The Ipswich 'Sackers' Witches welcome the Berwick Bandits to Foxhall on Thursday for another must win Premier League fixture. The visitors have an unfamiliar look about them with three guest riders - already missing Mathias Thornblom & Claus Vissing through injury their skipper Kevin Doolan has joined them after a big pile-up at Shielfield Park on Saturday night. They bring in Theo Pjiper, Richie Worrall & Luke Bowen as guests and will operate R/R to cover Vissing. Ipswich will be missing two riders with Nico Covatti still out with his hand injury and Ashley Morris on Elite League duty with King's Lynn. Tero Aarnio will come in for Ashley with R/R being used to cover Nico (all riders being eligible to take one of his rides). Ipswich 'Sackers' Witches1.
