boz
Was actually a really good speedway meeting tonight, most enjoyable of the entire season for me. Some excellent racing from both sides, and the result was probably just about fair. A couple of excellent guests for the Bears. Lawson was imperious ,the only surprise was he dropped a point! Wethers was absolutely excellent and probably won us the meeting. Kus was good though and special mention to Jonas B Andersen. Really hope we can convince him to come next season as he is a excellent talent. Couple of excellent races with Ryan Fisher and Todd Kurtz. Full credit to Plymouth who contributed brilliantly to the meeting. Risager was excellent in his first two rides when he gated, but miles behind when he didnt. Ryan Fisher and Jack Holder were very entertaining and maybe deserved more points, whilst Todd Kurtz had one of his excellent STMP meetings. Wright and Simota both very poor though. Good track, decent enough crowd and good racing meant a very enjoyable night for me at least.
cheekycobra
Just reading on the updates site. Let me just say Plymouth didn't "bottle it" but contributed to a fantastic meeting. Both teams gave it their all, the racing was brilliant. The best race track in Britain

The track was very good tonight, the MPA was close to its best again ( but not quite). The devils definitely deserved a point ( if not more). Fine margins between success and failure. Boothers
Great meeting, passing for fun, great to see the efforts put in by all riders, including the away team and guests (well done Matty W!). Have to say the Devils were unlucky to go home empty handed and I'm only pleased that the ridiculous decision to award a race as a 7-1 rather than the 8-1 it should obviously have been didn't in the end cost you. Big well done to everyone concerned. Wish there were more meetings like this!
Halifaxtiger
Cracking meeting, as good as I have seen anywhere this season Both sides going hammer & tongs at each other all night and its difficult to state a real highlight although the battle between Holder & Andersen in heat 15 was special - no-one knew who had got it as they went over the line. Agree very much about the 7-1 - when the lights came on Risager was definitely in front. Shocking decision. The only downers were that Plymouth deserved a point and three sets of road works on the way home. Best part was seeing STMP back to what it was about 5 years ago - as one of the top tracks in the country Now trying to figure out how I can make next Fridays meeting.....................
