Sheffield Vs Edinburgh Pl 20th August 2015

Recommended Posts

Tough one this with Tigers injury problems mounting by the day.

Hopefully Klindt will pull his finger out and Bellego gets his mojo back or we might struggle against the win at all costs Moanarchs. Add in the uncertainty at reserve now Arthur's season is over and it could be a close one.

Win At All Costs Monarchs - I quite like that. It has a certain ring to it.

But nah I think I prefer Smug Monarchs.

Think your WAAC is pointed in the wrong direction though.

I think we've only made a mid season team change once in the past 3 years.

Look farther south.

Thanks to the guys at @TigersSpeedway again for the opportunity to ride one of the best tracks in the UK. It's been a pleasure ☺👍

SHEFFIELD will look to extend their unbeaten home record to 11 meetings as they welcome in-form Edinburgh to Owlerton on Thursday (7.30).

Jack Lee’s side will hand a Premier League debut to British youngster Zach Wajtknecht as a guest for injured reserve Arthur Sissis.

Supporters will also get to enjoy an extra six heats of racing as the club host a Midland Development League clash between Scunthorpe and Buxton immediately after the meeting.

SHEFFIELD: Brady Kurtz, Paco Castagna, David Bellego, Nicolai Klindt, Jason Garrity, Zach Wajtknecht, Josh Bates.

EDINBURGH: Craig Cook, Justin Sedgman, Kevin Wolbert, Erik Riss, Sam Masters R/R, Max Clegg, Robert Branford.

Looking forward to seeing young Zach ride, been banging in the points for Brum. Do worry for Sheffield tonight though. A good win for Edinburgh last week at Somerset, Cookie flying and rode well at Owlerton all year, Wolbert always rides it well and I think young Riss will put on a big score with how he rides the bigger tracks.

Need Bates to carry on his good performaces around Sheffield lately, and need a big score from Bellego or Klindt to go with Kurtz and Garrity if we're to get a win!

Bet cookie smashes track record, he's flying and pleasure to watch.

Track record being 59.1 currently held by Ricky Ashworth on 15th October 2010. Wish Craig the best of luck as he would be a worthy holder if he broke it. Somehow think that record will stand for a long time with the current silencers.
