van wolfswinkel
Brilliant result for The Robins in Knobland, great comeback, most thought they would be given a good knobbing. Well done Peter the Killer. Bring on the play-offs!!! GO ROBINS!!! Edited September 7, 2015 by haydon hat

van wolfswinkel
Home win by at least 12 for me. It started at 15 point home win! I thought the same. I don't think Swindon are as strong now with Kildemand instead of Ward and also with Zengi as a heat leader instead of second string. If Hans hadn't fell then bees would have only lost at the abbey by 4 and that was with King, Howarth & JK missing. They would have all scored more than the replacements did. I think Poole could beat Swindon at the Abbey and then on their last visit to Poole they were thrashed. Swindon also have the weakest reserve pairing on paper. Coventry are unpredictable at the moment. Been strong all year but recently had a dip. Harris is finding great form and Hans seems to be scoring better. Howarth knows Pooles track well. We have the reserve most likely to challenge Newman from the draft. However a lot will depend on what happens with JK replacement. Coventry & Poole ride each other's tracks well. Belle Vue seems to be a track Poole struggle on a bit, although I think Poole would do enough at home. However there's a question mark over Zagar now. Hard to tell who will face who Swindon will be looking to get something tonight. Prediction 58-32
dorset delight
H'mmm, was this an arranged result? Couldn't manage 43 -43 so 45-45 will do
Poole Quay 7
A draw which hopefully brought a smile to Darcy's face! Well done Swindon on getting the draw, I thought we would win by around 8-10 points but no excuses. I really don't know who Poole will go for in the play-off S/F but whoever it is , Dak will have to get his act and bikes together quickly or he will cost us again.
foreverblue
I do worry about Dak in the Play-Offs....Davey better suited at No.3 in my opinion. We should pick Coventry in the Play-Offs as they have the weakest top 5 in my opinion. Dak is a good rider but as i have said before he could be the reason we dont win the title. He is too inconsistant, lets just hope he can be more consistant in the play offs, he will give it everything but often falls off trying which helps no one. GoFastTurnLeft
A big problem Dak has at the moment is that he has been let down by his servicing company and doesn't have his best bike so he was using a lot of second hand and borrowed stuff. Doesn't excuse everything but explains some of it. Just hope he gets it sorted very quickly. I really enjoyed the meeting last night. I know they're doing an official meeting for Darcy, but this one really felt like it was for him. Both his EL teams racing, his dad on centre green and lots of banners and support. As such, a draw felt like a good result.
SteveLyric2
Dak was very honest in his public interview at the end. He simply said 'he was s#!t'!! But he does need to get his machinery problem resolved before next Monday!! As for Poole's chosen opponents, I expect MF to wait for confirmation of Coventry's and Belle Vue's 1-5 before making any announcement tomorrow!! Senior Start Tart
After last night, I think Matt Ford and the Pugwashers will be running scared. There is no way that the current set-up would get a draw at the Abbey! It must be Belle Vue or Coventry for Poole.
Woz01
Your hapless prediction,, What a numpty... To be fair if North was on his best machinery it would've been a comfortable enough Poole win. It was never going to be tonking as she suggested though. GoFastTurnLeft
I'm a little surprised we picked this early. Sod's law now dictates Cov will somehow persuade someone like Sayfutdinov to replace Kylmakorpi.
scoobydoo
Isnt Linus Sundstrom a Rick Frost asset and Mick Horton didnt exactly end last year in Rick Frosts good books over this dealings with Peterborough ,
SteveLyric2
Surely no team in the play-offs can re-declare? They can only replace a rider (like for like) who is out for the rest of the season with injury!! If North was on his best machinery, who knows, Holder may have had some gremlins, or someone else may have not been at their best. Furthermore, Batchelor could have scored more or Kildemand may have stayed on his bike and won that race. All 'ifs buts and maybes'
thehammer
No one can sign anyone now August 28th was the last day anyone could sign anyone. Do keep up 😉 there's a 7 day window prior to the play offs beginning where injured riders can be replaced. The only issue is that no one seems to know if it's up to the riders average or up to the limit (which gives the Bees more scope)

If they wanted to strengthen, they should have done it before the cutoff. So a rider up to JK's average then.

How about what is allowed? The rules allow Coventry to replace Joonas, so thats what our management will hopefully be doing. Nothing in the rule book says "like for like" or "up to the replaced riders average" or anything like that.
