A ORLOV
Barsteward, many will go but many can not easily get there. Have seen weather forecast after reading post 19 above so maybe correct decision and my post was wrong. Hope they will show KL rather than nothing. Woz01
I would be Poole that advised Sky. Clubs give Sky 48 hours notice whether the meeting is likely to run or not from what we were told after the Cov V Poole fiasco.
Reliant Robin
Very strange. I guess 2 reasons why it might now not be shown. 1. The weather forecast is not very good so they don't want another rain off or only 10 heats (although doesn't usually stop them) 2. The most likely being that Swindon were thrashed on their last visit to Poole so maybe feel it won't be close enough for good viewing. will we have another Rosco rant to look forward to It's very strange though after all the hype over the last couple of weeks by sky over this and Ward. Will that mean yet another week without speedway on sky (should have shown yesterday's) It'll be a joint decision based on the forecast...nothing to do with the score line last time out. Same option Coventry had and probably wished they had taken when Poole were in town on Sky!

But to be fair it was said you have to give Sky 48 hours noticed to whether it was going to be postponed or not. That's not happening in this instance, maybe that's changed after the Coventry fine. SCB
Maybe going to Kings Lynn instead? Correct. Skys speedway twitter account confirms they're monitoring the weather in Poole and Lynn today but plan to be at Lynn now.
Woz01
Correct. Skys speedway twitter account confirms they're monitoring the weather in Poole and Lynn today but plan to be at Lynn now. Are they sure because they gave a Belle Vue v Swindon result out when they were on heat 14!
Shale Searcher
It may of been decided yesterday? That would be the mandatory 48 hours notice? Kings Lynn affected by different weather system, their weather is controlled by a Scandinavian blocking high pressure and should be mostly dry Wednesday.. mdmc82
confirmed that King's Lynn V Coventry is now being shown instead With less than 3 weeks to go before the cut off date and Swindon already riding a lot, I'm sure Poole will do everything they can to get this meeting on Maybe sky could give us the score for both meetings now like they did yesterday 😂 Edited August 18, 2015 by mdmc82
orion
Common sense by sky changing the cameras to kl giving the weather forcasts for Poole and Kings Lynn . Edited August 18, 2015 by orion

heathen chemistry
strange decision, when have sky ever done this before, they never change this late in the day, theyve been pluggin this match for weeks sky doing poole another favour, someone at sky must be a big poole fan its obvious that if the weather is wet it wont help poole and if sky are in town there's the added pressure of getting the match on which puts poole at a disadvantage also theres the chance of it being another farce like the coventry match , ford wouldnt want to risk that happening...

Or maybe Poole just has the courtesy of getting touch with Sky and giving notice that the meeting was likely to be cancelled due to weather forecast when other teams haven't done so and ended up racing 10 heats infront of a crowd of 6.
SteveLyric2
Gomolski likely to be missing with aggravated knee injury - if meeting is on!!? Gavan
We'l be fine. They havn't got a clue what they are talking about. They try and forcast 7 days in advance, jeez, they can't even forcast one day at a time.. s Yes total clowns werent they! Yet again you make yourself look foolish is it an art form for you. Well done sky for changing the match to one that should be on rather than Poole trying to get to a dodgy heat 10 again.
